No it's not, people are fed up of being ignored and trodden over. They are waking up!

The Labour group leader of Bolsover has lost her seat to Reform, the Reform candidate getting double the amount of votes.
Let’s hope Natalie Fleet is taking is taking notice, actually is she even a real person she’s been that absent around here?
East stand second class citizen.

It seems quite a lot of people are voting for “the new NF/BNP/UKIP/'Tommy's football lads' thing” after all.
Passing the 500 seat barrier now on a night of unprecedented success.

Is he?

Labour have less council seats than independents - and are neck and next with the greens for last place.

The tories have, so far seen a 70% loss of council seats.

Reform have won a mayoral seat, a by election, and control several councils with easily the largest number of council seats across the country.
A new hope.

Sorry - unbelievable in terms of how low there vote share is given the majority they have in Westminster

Totally believable given how labour have conducted themselves for the last 10 months.

Does that make more sense?
A new hope.

It’s VE Day on Monday and for those of us who served this great nation it’s quite galling to have people voting for a party led by a bloke who used to worship Hitler and sing such songs.
Traitor to this Island.

Don't new governments pretty much always get wiped out at a local level?

No, one of the reasons the Tories have lost a lot of seats, apart from being a disaster, is that they were defending a very high number of seats yesterday after doing very very well in these same elections in 2021, two years after Boris’ large 2019 election win.

There is nothing wrong with migration per se - controlled migration where the country gets the labour it needs.

Think windrush.

What we are getting uncontrolled mass migration of god knows who. Criminals running migration and not the government.

Branding people far right and racist when they express these concerns is doing the exact opposite to what you want. It’s alienating and pushing more and more people to Reform.

If the government got control of this, if border force actually controlled borders and not acting as an escort force for the small boats and the like the public wouldn’t have these concerns- in short if the parties dealt with the problem properly instead of looking for ways to shout down concerns - these concerns would not be there.

I told him this some time ago; all I got was 'racist' and 'bigot', casually thrown at me.

I literally said, with that level of arrogance, contempt and unwillingness to listen to ordinary folks' concerns, you are playing right into the hands of those who you despise....he didn't listen, just kept labelling folk, with his head in the sand. One of the best useful idiots I've ever come across.
