. By the next election it could be anyone but the main two and a coalition govt where either reform or the Lib Dems hold the power is a real option....

A very strong possibility

We could end up with the greens, SNP, and reform all having a significant number of seats with no single party having a majority.
A new hope.

Its better than the alternative, if you dont think so then go and try China, Russia, North Korea as the option. Even Animal Farm sums up the reality of that way of governing...

Have you visited China recently ?
Two of my sons have and say it is unbelievably futuristic and cheap. They can't big it up enough. I've subsequently watched Youtube videos of travel vloggers who've visited China and it is very impressive -worth a look. They have certainly become more capitalist oriented in the last 5 years

Not since 1999... and I had the pleasure of Shanghai and a more remote area where there were only two westerners in town... the GM of the plant I was visiting and me. America bombed the Chinese embassy in Kosovo whilst I was there. We left quickly...

China is most definitely a place where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer - a perfect example of Animal Farm...

And Cambridge, where they seem to own huge chunks of the city, with houses and apartments at London prices.

Perhaps they like good ale and decent boozers.

Based purely on Bridge/Barrel Inn trips
Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Never the twain shall meet.

Well, your average semi in Inky, in a very average area of Cambridge, will set you back around ?700'000. Closer to the centre and a simple terrace can set you back a steady ?1M.

Yep house prices are mad, can pay ?1m for a semi in st albans if in right school catchment. A 3 bed terrace with street parking is around ?800k if in city centre.

This is why I dont live in St A and my daughter moved back to Derbyshire.... thank god for hybrid working!

Labour woman mentions Llamas to emphasise her point = end of civilisation as we know it.

But no doubt this is just free speech... https://www.lbc.co.u...d-misogynistic/

Some no-mark local councillor.... wow. Versus, several MPs on a WhatsApp chat and a minister talking bizarre nonsense. Nice deflection attempt, but it ain't carrying much weight.

Still....if we're talking about misogyny, I don't ever recall you saying anything about black rap 'artists' (including several well-known females), who have been pumping out similar and far worse, for last 30 odd years....

Lovely bit of Parliamentary theatre today with Reform MP for Ashfield the RT Honourable Lee Anderson, asking if a person who identified as a Llama took ill in the night should they call for a DR, a vet or a straight jacket. Even good old Wes Streeting managed a wry smile.

Recognising the right to identify as a llama is insane. Don?t you see how ludicrous that is?

Asked about these comments, a spokesperson for No10 said the position remains clear, the PM has been clear before that single sex spaces will and should be protected and that the PM wouldn?t comment on statements made by someone before they joined his government.

Rosie Duffield asked the health minister Karyn Smyth if she believed a biological female nurse should be expected to get changed in front of a biological male who identifies as a female - she replied No.

Oh I see, it was a joke now was it? Right.

It was a ridiculously stupid statement, meant to highlight diversity.

But then you knew that CPS.
