Top scorer at Gainsborough Trinity last season, amazing stamina and speed for his age.
"one day, we shall return" (edit - and so we did).

Do you think he’s worth a trial, could be a decent player to bring off the bench with 10 minutes to go like Nathan Tyson or Wayne Allison when we need a goal and he must come cheap these days, towns loads better than Gainsborough.

He's 39 years old. No way.

Not at this level at his age, a few years ago for sure though...he's been a fantastic pro over the years, he is now player/manager now at another club.

He’s now registered disabled and can’t walk unaided. He eventually managed to shake of many of his issues

Caused by his issues or carpet fitting?

I know people who struggle to walk properly after a lifetime carpet fitting and not wearing decent knee protection

So we get 5 subs and on the bench we havea player who we can put on the bench for 10 minutes unless he's a brilliant goalkeeper then it's more than doubtful even on a discussion board

There was that Nathan abbey contract thing a while back - was it a month that once a contract has been offered the deal has to stay on the table?

Well that's not a good sign given how bad he was for us lol

I was at that one- hadn't remembered that it was Rushbury's first match. Must have been Reevesey's first match against us since he left.
Allott was a forward back then, before his successful conversion to a midfielder.
Burt was an incredible talent but sadly never fulfilled it.

Oh for the days when, attacking the Saltergate Kop second half, it didn't matter how many goals we were down at half-time- there was always hope, and a cracking atmosphere to boot.
These go to eleven.

Not us but Charles-Cook (keeper) and Harry Forster who both played in the play off semi against us have turned down contract offers and left Bromley.

He made one or two cock ups and retaliated to some idiotic barracking at least once, but I don't remember him being bad at all. He had a lot to do that season, not least in his first game when we got pumped 6 at home in the sunshine.

He didn't do carpet fitting for very long, he became a carer in a Nursing home.

He suffered (much like Covolan) from peoples minds being made up on him after shipping 6 in that first game. People didn't give him a chance after that regardless of how he played. He was nowhere near as bad as people make out.

Did anyone notice that Mo Sagaf (ex Dagenham) turned us down and went to Borehamwood instead as he didn’t want to relocate out of London?

He was decent on Championship Manager as well, I kept him in goal and took the Spireites to the Premier League.
