The longer this Dallas saga goes on, it stinks of his agent trying to play clubs off each other and bleed them for whatever they can get for his signature - which they are entitled to do. But as it drags on, they might actually price him out of a decent move.
Imagine we say we've moved on, imagine Oldham say enough is enough and the Gillingham ship has sailed....

Agents work for players not the other way round.
They offer advise not instructions.
If, and I repeat, if the agent is playing games he's doing so under instructions.

There was that Nathan abbey contract thing a while back - was it a month that once a contract has been offered the deal has to stay on the table?

But the saga isn’t dragging on, it’s all finished, now we can move on.

Perhaps consideration should be given to the fact that before joining us on loan Dallas had spent a couple of years at soilyhull where being a c...was pre requisite and its probably become natural to him.

It's not finished until he's officially signed somewhere, till then it's all still speculation
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Now there's me thinking that agents primarily work for themselves whilst impressing on players that they are doing their absolute best for them.

Just let this Dallas drama go now….if he signs, he signs…one player doesn’t make a team

I remember a few years ago, we were in league 1 or 2, think Sheridan was in charge, we had a decent player on the radar, offered him £4 grand a week, looked like he was gonna sign then p1ssed off to Brentford for £6 grand a week and he did f—k all there so I really wouldn’t panic about Dallas, he sounds like trouble anyway.

I think agents have more influence on a player than that. The better the deal is for the player, the better the deal is for themselves.

If I was an agent and I’d found a club willing to pay him £10k a week and he chose a club that was paying £7k a week, I’d try and talk him into the better deal, makes perfect sense unless he had an affiliation with the club.

How was he a massive flop?
11, then 24 then 18 goals in his three seasons at Brentford.

First season he was crap, I repeat he came good in the end, but Brentford paid £6k a week for a striker who scored 11 goals in his first season, is that good business, bearing in mind it was quite a few years ago, £6k was a hell of a lot more then, although I grant you he may have scored more than 11 for us.

We know Dave Allen offered him £4k and it was common knowledge Brentford offered him a lot more £, for some reason £6k was in my head but i never saw his wage packet personally.

I'd stop digging matey. Even by the low standards set by this board for truth, you really are talking a load of Bunkum
