I could well (and hope I am) be proven wrong, but I personally would rather have had Dallas than Grigg if it had to be one or the other. Nevertheless, Grigg should have plenty of service from our attackers and will hopefully guide us back to where we belong!

I’m led to believe that D*llas 🍆 went back to the club 3 times asking for nearly 2K more than what we originally verbally agreed the day after the playoff final defeat.

**** him. Clearly has no interest in this club just his own pocket. Hope he enjoys the delights of deepest darkest Lancashire.

You' ve just been told or you forgot to mention it in your earlier posts slating Dallas.
Pass me a pinch of salt please.

If Dallas signs for Oldham it’s absolutely fine and no doubt he will have made the decision based on what is best for him financially. Hoping we can land Plan B or Plan C though - as currently at the club we have one capable striker - Will Grigg.

Sounds like he is definitely off to Oldham and they are already gloating about what a ‘big club’ they are…they aren’t. So many tweets bookmarked to look back on when they sit 10th at the end of January.

The new Stockport, bunch of arrogant 💦🍆

If he goes there he is nothing more than a mercenary (like 99% of other footballers). Going around the town in CFC gear, partying and being put up by the club in CASA hotel only to sign for what looks the nearest rivals for the title despite ‘wanting EFL football’ is royally taking the urine. Can’t deny I’d be fuming and hope he faces an onslaught of abuse when he returned if this was to happen.

Probably a bit of old fashioned vibe but I'm going to wait until there's some actual news before I reach for my pitchfork.

Aye they are doing my head in. Of course they aren’t all like that but the big club mentality from some because they played in the premier league before they were even born is odd.

Funny that they seem to need a discussion as to wether Dallas is better than Fondop😂😂

I’ve been told Ibe did leave Portugal early, but not because of his fitness and certainly not because of his footballing ability. More to do with his battle with mental health. But cook is apparently desperate for him to sign as he was head and shoulders above everyone else.

Money aside I can’t see why he has chosen them given his ambition to play in the league. I just don’t see them being contenders this year.

I would suggest if he signs for Oldham there wasn’t too much interest from the EFL, same as if he signs for us.

Dallas was meant to be at the club this morning apparently but never showed. Cook has rightly pulled the plug, he's been having us bent over a barrel for weeks changing his mind about contracts, demands etc after apparent verbal agreements were made. We do right, nobody is bigger than the club, and he certainly isn't the be all and end all.

I hope we make him settle his bill in Casa as well before he checks out.

Plan B appears to be someone Kieron Dyer had in the U23's at Ipswich.

The Clayton Donaldson of 2023. 🤬
I will be absolutely slated for this but Dallas is a complete w*nker. He’s strung this club along for 6 weeks, complete free loader and an A grade ********.

Gillingham and Walsall was concrete. Gillingham lasted about a week of being messed about and went and got someone else

Just had a quick look on twitter searching and there is very little about Dallas going one way or the other, its just all fans of CFC or OAFC talking about if he signs then etc or if he chooses them instead etc....very little if anything from actual journos etc that you would actually take as an element of reliable posting about whats happening.

I wouldnt be surprised if come the end of the day he's still not ended up anywhere!

Personally have no issue with Dallas going elsewhere on the basis of getting a better deal, but (if true) stringing the club along and repeatedly upping wage demands, rubs me the wrong way.

If this is true, what an absolute bell end.

Oldham can gloat all they want getting him but I don’t want a player like that anywhere near us.

Search function on twitter is offline, so only anything from yesterday and older shows

@1rhysparsons seems to think he's ITK, search for him then read the threads
