So, in a nut shell...
Dallas was still in contract with Solihull
Dallas has been offered a few options with different clubs when his contract expires
Dallas and his agent are playing tbe long game and exploring all options offered
Our offer to Dallas is a final take it or leave it (and possibly a deadline to sign)

...and now we wait.

I'd expect it to be resolved one way or another (hopefully) today so we can pursue other player(s)

Just because there's been no announcement doesn't mean it hasn't been resolved or even resolved weeks ago.
Solihull want compo, so they've not allowed anyone to announce his signing while he's still their player.
Expect an announcement on Monday from somewhere, wether it be Kent, Greater Manchester or even North Derbyshire.

If not us I hope it's someone in the EFL, him joining Oldham would be a bit of a slap in the face because I'm sure we can more than match them financially and it'd strengthen our likely adversaries for the season

Pretty much where I'm at. I don't mind who Dallas signs for in the leagues above, but I would be disappointed if he signs for someone in the national league.
