Think we need to start putting disclaimers on posts that start "Someone on twitter" to say who it actually is thats being quoted. If its the one i've seen its not a reporter or anything just a town fan responding to another town fan who had tweeted about Dallas. Its not like its a Paul Fisher type who tweeted about Naylor then it happened.

Why would Dallas be in town 6 weeks after the end of the season, when he has no reason to be here, if he wasn't signed for us? He has been seen in town, on nights out, in Casa in his club tracksuit, and personally by me in the gym 2 days ago – and he is looking fit and sharp. Pretty clear he is here full-time.

Only logical explanation is that he has signed, but it can't be announced until 30 June.

A deadline needs to be set to get this signing concluded. We cannot have a situation whereby this drags on and on. My expectation is that we would have a list of other potential targets.

His existing contract doesn't expire for another week and evidently we need to agree a bit of compensation with his current employers. Until that's all signed and sealed I'd expect all parties to remain tight-lipped. That being the case, your histrionics are not really necessary.
