One remark that grabbed my attention was when Kirk remarked that promotion triggered contract extensions!

I hope Banks stays, he can play effectively in several positions, he makes things happen, he's not frightened to shoot and he's used to league 2 football. Apart from that, he seems a thoroughly decent bloke and a credit to the club.

I would think it relates to people signed in the close season, i.e. Jacobs. It would also explain the rumours about Palmer’s contract although I would think it odd that promotion would trigger an extension after the 2nd year. Unless it was a slip of the tongue, Kirk used the plural, so more than one player.

But we also have a few ageing players, we don't want to end up in a position where we're having to pay off injury prone players should it happen thru the next yr or 2 now

I’m not suggesting that theses kind of triggered extensions are necessary a positive thing.

Doesn’t sound like the sort of deal done for a loanee, more something that appears in a players personal terms

Yeh i get that but just wondered if it was how it was worded taking into account the long standing theory that there is a clause we can have him back if we were promoted.

Four years to the day since the Trust took over.
But it might be forty for the progress made.
So much for 'Judge us in twelve months'...

JC: not been seen at the ground today.
RS: Will we see a new keeper before Friday?
JC We will have to wait and see.

Bills unpaid...suppliers refusing to deliver...an utterly alienated fanbase...
Yes the Trust deserved criticism in some areas. Yes they made mistakes. But in the context of being a CFSS MK2 having to once again clear out a Town version of the Augean stables.
And now we're looking at nine thousand plus for Friday night.
Kinda renders any remaining snipes from those peddling 'Woke FC' resentment utterly ridiculous...

Incremental building; getting the infrastructure right; scouting, training, academy, backroom staff...
It might not deliver this year, next year or the year after. But it will deliver...
