Agree, never better than 5 out of 10 and doesn't put a shift in. He knows he won't be here next season. I wouldn't be looking at Dallas either - irrespective of what position he has been played he should look like a player in terms of passing, going past a player, first touch and ball control. He is quick and not much else - 3 gilt edged chances in games so far and missed the lot. Prove me wrong Mr Dallas - I will be delighted.

Dyer's getting paid? Where did you read that? I thought he was with us to get the experimental evidence he needs for his coaching badge.

You really think that we're bigger than Oldham and Southend? Wait 'til next season.

McCallum and Dallas together in a 4 4 2 would probably work for the two of them.
Regardless, are they even available for the play-offs?

Probably explains some of the more outrageous stuff written on here.
Anyway a couple of wins and the appearance of Dobra and we’ll be unstoppable again according to the bi-polar types.

Cook has a real dilemna with Dobra. It's absolutely essential that he's available for the playoffs. It's not essential that he plays league games, even at the expense of accepting a lower table position.

I thought I was watching Babestation the other night. There was a sad, fat old man ****ing himself off. Then I realised I hadn"t even switched the telly on.

People slated Duncan but once we had a lead, usually it was secured.
Struggling to get my head around this, unless I'm misunderstood, blind, or very stupid can someone help me understand?
Watch Arsenal and Man City. In a 9 pass movement, 3 will be back, 5 sideways and 1 forwards. It's just that our 1 forwards gets us "in" 1 in 12 times, whereas it's 1 in 4 for them. All imho.

He began with great credit from his previous time here, but some of his decisions have been strange to say the least.
We begin with Kabby. Okay maybe he didn't want to be here and when he played he wasn't as effective as last season, but look at the games Quigley has been given compared to him and Kabby still scored a few.
Then there was the nonsense with the goalkeepers. Fitz is better than Covalan, then he drops Fitz. Brings him back and gets him playing like Covalan. Enough of the sweeper keeper nonsense. A goalie should stay in his area unless it's a real last resort. Did our great keepers of the past come constantly haring out of their area?
Then there is Akinola. Okay maybe he isn't quite as good as he first appeared, but he's on loan from a top premier club for goodness sake. He hasn't been given anywhere near enough game time and is certainly better and more dynamic than Banks and Oldaker.
What was the point of signing Gyasi? Okay maybe he's no good, but neither is Quigley.
I'm not even going to mention our pair of alleged strikers anymore but last time Cook was here we had Doyle, and when he went fortunately Sam Clucas, who was a superb versatile player, came good. However Cook also recruited rubbish strikers such as Dieseruvwe (I think Cook signed him), Harrison and Gnanduillet. I know some people rated the latter, but I thought he was crap. Few goals and for a big man poor heading. Admittedly still better than the pair we have now, and like many ex town strikers, seemed to score more after he left.
Maybe Cook can't spot a striker and he got lucky with Doyle, who remember was initially poor before coming good. Hopefully Dallas might do the same. If he's played properly! Doyle wasn't a big target man and didn't rely on crosses but on his pace. Should be the same with Dallas.
I could go on about some other peculiar tactics and selections but will leave it for now. However the credit Cook had in my bank, and I expect that of others, is rapidly ebbing.

You got it and I think you also got the underlying message. That is, if far more of our forwards passes were successful in breaking the line and/or lines, then the previous sideways and backwards passes wouldn't be anywhere near as frustrating. Imho

Teams have worked us out, and we haven’t a plan B. With Maguire at left back, who has done well, and King on current form, we have no extra width. With Banks and Jones both sitting we only have 4 with an attacking threat. Easy to defend against. We need one of the midfielders to pose a threat going fwd.
