Thought he returned to match action in just about the standard time for a break and dislocated ankle. I suppose he would’ve returned in record time if you were looking after his rehab.

Kabby wasn't fit, as you know, so he wasn't ignored. The team was winning, as you know, so he persevered with Quigley. We had overspent, as you know, so there was no competition brought in for Quigley. Long ago, Cook said that strikers are judged on their goals, as you know. He's recently implied that his dream line up excludes Quigley, as you know.
So to claim that all along that he's rated Quigley is inaccurate.
And he's 'persevering' with Quigley again.
To be fair. His hands are tied with only Asante , McCallum and Dallas in the wings...

Any road up, can you please explain to me how today's team selection supports your thoughts in this debate?
After all, it's only fair, I've gone to great lengths in trying to get mine over only to be dismissed as being spurious and mischievous.

As soon as I saw the title of this thread, I didn't even need to guess who started it.

Sure, on team selection. I've just got in and I'm delighted, after missing the streaming and 1866.
I'm not aware yet of how we set up or performed, but I predicted a change in balance with a 3rd midfielder coming in, and I myself would have started Quigley ahead of the limited alternatives, Dallas or Asante, against this particular opposition. So my thoughts in this debate are that nowt about your historical views has changed.
I'll leave it to others to decide whether Quigley's performance today has resulted in Cooky 'really rating' him.

Sounds very much that you are cleverly trying to wriggle off the hook to me.

Thanks, a for a bit of humility at last
Harvey Elliot’s recovery was hailed as miraculous, whereas Wesley Fofana had complications. Tshimanga recovery was somewhere in between.
Some research would enhance your chosen career beyond postulating on a football message board.
But I will accept your apologies this time
