Still nothing! Debating cancelling my order altogether and asking for a refund

Why? It says on the information before you order it that shirts will be delivered 6-8 weeks after the pre order deadline date which was 30/6 , it’s not even been 6 weeks since the deadline has it?

For anyone not on twitter and still wanting some of the green and white clothing, matchwinner announced they have some for sale via the classic football shirts website...

Can't for the life of me figure out why these aren't in the club shop, considering the club were regularly plugging them on social media every week until recently.

Me neither. Hopefully now it looks like some more have been made, they'll get some in the shop but who knows.

I would imagine either classic shirts have agreed to a % sell on per shirt, or they've funded the production run and got sole rights to sell all the replica gear across all the clubs currently signed up.

On this basis, i can't see the club selling them themselves (even though they may still get a small cut from the license agreement)

Probably a contractual agreement with Puma

Has anyone recently purchased the reproduced green and white shirt? Just wondered what the quality is like.

Happy with the quality. Judging by how many were seen at home against Dorking and at Oxford plenty of others must be happy too!

What's the fit like? Is it a snug one size up job or true to size

Received this morning - If I’m honest its a pile of ****..massive waste of £60. Badge isn’t embroidered nor is the sponsor its just printed on (unsure if this is how the original was as I wasn’t alive?). I sell football shirts and have to say if I came across this on a car boot I’d think it was a fake shirt made in China or something like that and not a remake of the original from matchwinner. Also, I wear a size large and this shirt fits like a mens small/medium at a push.

Oh well i’ll just get it framed on the wall and consider it a lesson learnt to never buy one again. How is everyone else feeling about their purchase?

Just checked my order confirmation as couldn’t remember what I ordered. Also got the grey graphic hoodie and heritage jacket. Hope the above disappointment isn’t replicated here when they come.

Yeah it’s just like the original. That wasn’t embroidered on either. They are making exact replicas of the shirts they produced in the 90’s , why would they change it. The green one was embroidered on by the way because that was how the original one was. 👍🏽🤷🏽‍♂️

To be honest I missed out on the green one, but the criticism is a tad unfair. I’ve bought worse from Topps and foreign shirts too, at least it’s accurate of the original. Money is also going to the club too

I thought the green one was excellent. People who buy retro gear want them as close to the original as possible so when the actual company starts producing them you aren’t gonna get any closer than that. They are basically re-releases. Hopefully all the stuff gets put back on sale soon. I’m after the green zip up.

I bought a retro FC Koln shirt for a mate a few years back. The club badge peeled off after 10 months, crappy patch foam material. It cost a lot too

My two tops (blue home and blue/white zip up) arrived today. Wife hates them (‘You’re not 20!’) but I love em. Going up a size definitely more room and quality is good.
