Logic might be fourth choice CH shipped out on loan to free up just enough in wages to bring in the first choice CH?

that'd be my guess, as well as in the incoming FA Cup money to help fund it.

Which only works if someone wants him and will pay all or a good chunk of his wages. In terms of Cook i suspect his wages are lower and Dorking is back down in the same neck of the woods'ish where we signed him from.

A little bit surprised at this. Seems to leave us rather exposed if injury/suspension hits of of the two first choicers.

Just maybe Cook having seen Cook doesn't rate him as highly as Cook did when we signed him.

The fact that he has gone out on loan to the end of the season might suggest he will be released when his contract expires.

Obviously, this leaves us with no cover at RCB so it could suggest a signing is a possibility.

That's my conclusion which would push Cook further down the pecking order, with even less chance of game time.
A good move all round he showed he had the ability in the games he played, so hone that ability playing at the same level and next season he may well be commanding a 1st team place

Disappointed that he's gone out for the season he was looking a promising prospect. I would rather see McGuire go out on loan.

Well when we sign McGuire we might do in the meantime Loz Maguire is still part of the squad.

Williams, Grimes, Magiire even Jones and Banks could fill in.. Developement would be my hope for the lad, a real footballer who seems good on the ball and looks to carry the ball up the pitch against hoof ball tactics. Hope to see him return and develope.

My concern is we lose Kabby in the transfer window, Asante not making the starting line up means we have to find goals somehow to put in a serious promo challenge . Hopefully we see more from the forward line if this loan is part of the bigger picture.
