6 points behind Wrexham with a game in hand and them to play soon. Massive game

Mandy final ball has been dodgy for me, pre-this-season levels from him.

I still like Covolan a lot, but think I am a Fitzsimons convert now.

Oh agree he wasn’t as creative as he has been, but he was up and down all day

It's not the home games where you can expect Wrexham to drop points, especially against the likes of Aldershot.

That’s a great win and a great attendance given that they have no fans and that it’s on tv.

Bonus with Notts drawing too.

Hopefully, this is just the start of a long run.

We’re very much back in the race now.

Solihull played some nice stuff in patches. The fact we scored first helped as they couldn't resort to **** house tactics. This is a great run we are on and we are fully back in the title race

They had a lot of the ball at times but all in front of us and rarely got through us. We were comfortable for nearly all of it

I thought they were on their best behaviour. Probably because the cameras were watching so they couldn't try play acting as much.

A great win against a side who could have challenged our league place.

A mention for Jones who I thought was exceptional with his intercepts and spot on passing.

Bang on..
Keeper excellent and for me Jones was the MOM, he does a lot of the breaking down of opponents play and really uses the ball well.
Thought it was a great all round team performance..

He definitely wasn't close to being that.

A good 3 points. The not so good stuff first. Quigley's goal to chances ratio doesn't get any better. His finishing today wasn't top of this league standard. I rated Whelan when he came to us first time but his application off the ball wasn't acceptable today. Lose it; get it back. Or at least make an effort. Usual weak officiating. Their boy should have gone for kicking Dobra on the ground. Their captain should have been yellow carded for barging him off the pitch.

Good stuff. Almost everything else. Akinola showed how determination, effort and energy pays off. I'd start him and bench Whelan. Fitz did well and made some good saves including when we let them through unchallenged. Jones did well defensively and covered a lot of ground too.

I thought the ref was decent. Good advantage that we actually made the most of.

Yep he did will. Wasn’t swayed by them crowding him every decision early on to the point they stopped bothering actually doing it.

Did you see their lad kick Dobra as he was on the floor? Did you see Osbourne kick Mandy in front of the ref?
