Williams, Grimes, Magiire even Jones and Banks could fill in.. Developement would be my hope for the lad, a real footballer who seems good on the ball and looks to carry the ball up the pitch against hoof ball tactics. Hope to see him return and develope.

My concern is we lose Kabby in the transfer window, Asante not making the starting line up means we have to find goals somehow to put in a serious promo challenge . Hopefully we see more from the forward line if this loan is part of the bigger picture.

We have goal-scorers about 13 of them

If a club takes Maguire and contributes £200 to his wages isn't that £200 per week /£800+ a month saved?

Not enough of them to overhaul the defensive weaknesses though

Just maybe Cook having seen Cook doesn't rate him as highly as Cook did when we signed him.

The fact that he has gone out on loan to the end of the season might suggest he will be released when his contract expires.

Obviously, this leaves us with no cover at RCB so it could suggest a signing is a possibility.

I don't recall ever having seen the length of Joe's contract. How sure are you it's only 1 year?

If Loz's wage is £400 week, then yes.
However, you've then got just £200 to replace him with.

The word is he's one of our higher earners. £400 (20k salary) is modest so Id guess he's on quite a bit more

I'm can't be sure but would be a little surprised if it was for longer.

Sending him out for rest of season seems odd with no additions so expect a signing

The recall arrangement is the important indicator of the manager's thoughts and of course we don't get told what it is.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

I’m sure Cook is on a 2yr deal and you would expect so given Paul Cooks widespread comments about player turnover and the lads Age

He did this often in his first time round sent lads on loan brought them back and put them straight back in.

Good idea to send the lad out to get games and minutes under his belt.

Yep. That £400 a week likely to be nearer to Joe Cooks wage although given that’s under the national living wage I’d hope he’s on a bit more than that. Maguire will be on a decent wedge given his last contract was put in place to keep him at the club with sides from league 1/2 sniffing about for him.
