It seems that they're allowed 1500 in rather than the widely quoted 1000.

And unsegregated so fans can swap ends at HT

It wasn't realistically going to be segregated.

A case of the I know a bloke who knows another bloke scenario here. Well a bloke active in the Notts none league scene who as contact with an equivalent in Leicestershire. Anstey were keen to play at ours and their appetite was wet even more after their visit. Who can blame level 9 players wanting what for the majority of them would probably be their only chance to experience playing a competitive game at such a stadium. But the FA remained resolute and wouldn't set a president.

Allegedly requests for alternative venues was met with the same intransigence.

Rules are rules. But these are only competition rules. What happened to the old cop out at put in place at the end of the rules (something like) "these rules maybe altered at the discretion the committee"

This final qualifying round of the FA Cup will, due to a greater influx of 'bigger clubs' (supporter wise) will throw up more fixtures were the home ground is not able to cope with potential away followings and small clubs being devoid of vital income.

Time for revisiting the rules and allowing for venue change if both parties agree .

But that's going back to how it was and devalues the competition in my opinion.

For once the FA have got it right in insisting that the draw stands as it adds value to the competition reflected by the generous sponsorship deals and associated prize money to participating clubs.

I don't suppose anything apart from the local cafe there'll not be much open in Anstey with this kick-off time.

I entered last night not expecting owt. Just assumed they’d go to those on the inside or with connections (which I certainly don’t have). Got an email from Peter whitely saying I’ve got one. I’ve never travelled on true blue either - always drive away.

Wish i'd gone for one now. I thought there was no point as I didn't want to go on my own and thought the chances of me and my daughter and/or mates getting one was far fetched. But it seems like everyone has one!

I can be very specific about the last time I went on a club coach. It was Reading away (Jon Howard scored) and some scrote swiped my programme from under my seat.

That’s happened to me twice on true blue. Torquay away around Christmas (awful game) and Man City away. A serial programme snatcher no doubt in operation.

Ah, I should have been clearer. This happened in the ground not on the bus!

Is that the only time we have played at the Madjeski? It's one of about 10 grounds in the football league i've not been too, though I do remember us playing them at home early 00's but didn't go to the away game.

True, but apparently there is a decent clubhouse on site with Licensed bar.
