Yeah great story but definitely not the correct match, nowhere near 5000 Sunderland fans, no pitch invasion and it finished 1-1.

Correct , the last time the paddock was in use was May 11th 1985 v Rochdale the same day as the Bradford fire. The brick steps were then put in the pre season of 85/86.
