Missed the attendance, 4k+. The tannoy/speakers aren't working in the East side of the Kop so couldn't make out anything that has been said all night.
1-1

The PA system needs sorting. I’m surprised it hasn’t been made a priority as it’s a potential safety issue.

Kop concourse hasn't had the best planning. Only two counters open and run out of food before half time

Same in West. I’d not had chance to have anything to eat before the game so went down on about 35 mins to beat the queues and it was busy already.
Sold out of everything before I go to the front, couldn’t even get a bag of crisps. Was literally hundreds in the queue so big miss for CFC not being stocked up to sell goods. Really disappointing

That's very poor and could affect the club's ability to attract such games in future

I think it is poor, no excuses really they knew the ticket sales so should have known how busy they’d have been. Half the shutters down too so assuming we are struggling for staff as well

Doesn’t bode well for when there’s 7000+ there in a couple of weeks

Should be plenty of students back home, one problem is most hospitality outlets are crying out for staff and the club can't offer competitive number of hours

It’s not that simple I know but we should offer better wages to counter that. Speculate to accumulate and all that

Enjoyed that tonight, we have the perfect stadium for games like that (I’m surprised we didn’t host a womens euro match)
What a player Payet is by the way…some real quality in show tonight.

That pitch is like a Persian carpet…immaculate

There was even a scab fan in the crowd (had a top on with a **** badge)

Neither side will have played on a better pitch recently IMHO.

I didn't realise Payet was 35. There were some huge specimens out there - the biggest 6ft 8 and the fitness and strength of the players was the obvious difference between what we usually watch. There wasn't a massive amount of quality football played which was a shame (the shooting generally gash) but it was a nice diversion on a wet Wednesday night.

TBF to CFC, on Saturday only 2400 tickets had gone, there was a major late spurt no doubt as a result of heavy social media advertising, so with the first home game still well over a fortnight away, over buying perishables would not be smart and calling in staff at the last minute is also difficult at any time, let alone in the #1 holiday period.

The biggest hold up seemed to be waiting for beer to be poured. Then waiting for barrels to be changed etc etc. Surely there are faster solutions available. This should and needs to be a slick operation, not quite F1 pit stop slick but it certainly can be and needs to be better. Nobody wants to miss the game, which can also lead to lost revenue when people stop using the facility because of this. Yes you are right and excuses can be rolled out for last night and less money taken than what could've been.

Could they get the youth team players to help out serving food etc? Pay them some extra money of course. Obviously the under 18s wouldn't be able to serve alcohol.

And here was me thinking Guendouzi was an innocent party in the bizarre brawl after the Betis equaliser - should've known better

You get the feeling they've come across each other before

guendouzi is horrible piece of work. Always in the refs face, winding up opposition. Thinks hes a great player when hes very average

Betis no 17 seems equally to blame.
