I think the first bit was reminiscent to Gary Roberts pulling the blokes shorts down at a free kick followed by stupidity kicking the ball away.
To be fair the guy did tread on his foot on purpose but no need to drop like he'd been shot.

The difference between that incident was the Cheltenham player was blocking a quick free kick, the players quizzical reaction to standing around in his ball bags and the sheer humour of the moment that was shared by the referee.
