It wasn’t fans (plural) just one big mouth sat on front row of W7, I presume with his young lad. Ban him for life if what appeared to be racial abuse is proved. There must have been plenty sat within a few seats who witnessed and heard everything. Felt sorry for the kid.

The wife was walking the dog across the carpark during the first half. She is saying that she saw a fella with a young lad was talking to three policemen. She was saying that it looked like the young lad was trying to get the fella to move on. They let him go on his way up along Whitt Moor.
This would have been about half three onwards so it may have been the same person.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

I don't think there's a better CH in this league than Williams but even so I can see more defensive aggression in him than last season. Thinking on though, we've got cover for him but not for Grimes. Perhaps Cook thinks that Clements can do it.

At this very moment in time Cook brought on cover for Grimes and he took the captain's armband.

They looked unorganised and not fit. We were superior in all areas of the pitch.

Don't agree. I thought that they were a big strong outfit that will cause many teams problems. They're pacey, skillfully and strong. We were just far superior in all departments, playing the better style of football.

We were decent today, very, very decent. Big shout out for Quiggs; he looked fit and determined. At last, the ref recognised the fact that you can't wrestle the lad to the ground without going unpunished

Seemed to be telling them to go and warm up behind the goal. Odd way to deal with it.

Surely you are not suggesting that the act of giving Maguire some minutes in any way equates to him being an adequate replacement as a LHS CH in a back 4?

Asante can come back after a long injury with his shooting boots on but Kabby can't. Mmmmm

Not saying he can't, just give him time. Its not about fixing the injury it is mentally as well. He does not want the added
pressure that fans will be expecting him to start knocking the goal's in as he did last season. Just give him time.

Not sure how these things should be ‘officially’ dealt with but he should surely have been taken to the concourse and been spoken to.

The current lads will see him get the time he needs.

We haven't officially announced his signing yet. Prosumably, paperwork is holding things up.

Otherwise, apart from the injured Tshimanga, Clarke, Oyeleke, Rowe & Carline the only absentee I think today was Gunning.

The other transfer listed three played and two triallists (Matlock & Barrow) but not sure if PC's son was mentioned.

Pleased for Quigley who seemed to have a good game, and it seems, just maybe, young Horton might be an adequate replacement for Whittle. Banks appears to have played very well too. However, not much appears to have been said as to how well any of the sub did.

Almost impossible to judge when the team is swapped all at once 60 minutes in. Not sure it is fair on those trying to impress.

I expect we watched most of the Dorking starters in the first 60 minutes

Given the starting side was the same as at Matlock it’s easy to assume that this is what Cook sees as his best XI right now.

Anyone know who the keeper was out there at HT? If he was a triallist I’m surprised he wasn’t given some game time.

Pathetic indeed if that’s the case.

The club’s always telling people to report incidents like this to the nearest steward, but it sounds like action only ended up being taken today because a Bradford player complained about it.

Houston We Have A Problem

The Dog is in the kennels (Home Boarding) and I'm flying off to Portugal for a break.

I'm not too far from Christiano's Dog so I will keep my ears open as I've heard he's sat at home sulking cause his agents only just told him Man Utd are not in the Champions League

Report in Bradford Telegraph and Argus that Bradford will be reporting incident to the FA. Hope we have taken appropriate action to prevent any serious sanction on the club.

Not all stewards are comfortable dealing with issues, they are there in the main to help, advise and be available in case assistance is needed.

For this incident the guy needed speaking to by senior stewards and asked to leave. It could have been dealt with quiet simply by Bradford playing on and let the senior steward do their job.

Well what a game. The player who stood out for me was our number 3 was it Brandon Horton. He is quality no doubt. Mandy made himself a nuisance to the opposition again and gave us a great goal to celebrate. Olly Banks seems to have improved massively since he played for us last time. They started well enough but we played them off the park, they never got chance to settle into a routine. Really happy with the close season business and very optimistic but I will try not to get carried away.

On the stewarding front, I saw pretty much the whole thing. Admittedly, I didn't hear what the bloke said, but the Bradford subs were clearly very hacked off. They also indulged in some finger pointing and verbals, which hardly calmed things down. Fair play to the stewards; they did their best. They get paid peanuts and are expected to manage a volatile situation. They were professional and not frightened to lay down the law. In the end Town fans talked the guy down and the boys in blue ushered him out.

Gary Roberts said post match that Clarke has a ‘little niggle’ and we have to be really careful with him.

Just do the business at Dorking lads and Wrexham have a game on their hands - can’t wait.
