So, simply going on '1866' and remembering this is a PSF, we seem to be playing the Cook way.

High press, lotsa energy and neat passing in possession.

Had the better of things, too.

Encouraging, very encouraging...

Superb from us so far, although we were in line for their disallowed goal and I thought he was onside!

We definitely look the better team. Our new signings look tasty , we may well be in for a special season

I’m right in that corner and I don’t think his reaction was because someone had said he was ****. They’ve carted someone out now

Wasn't one of them Angol, ex-Mansfield? Plausible if you're tinned up you might think a low-key summer friendly is a suitable occasion to call him a **** a few times.

Hardly being negative to feel anxious about starting the season without our top scorer is it? It's going to take Kabongo a while to get up to speed once he starts playing, so we could possibly be quite a way into the season before we see him starting games. That is a scenario that we could all quite reasonably be anxious about.

It's more to do with the fact that the season hasn't even started and we're moaning about how the season is gonna go already.
Two weeks until the season starts and the negativity (cos that's what it is) has started, it's ridiculous.
We've had the ball in the back of the net twice and more than held out own against a rather strong looking outfit from the league above.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Tshimanga, Rowe & Clarke in this team would be unfair on the rest of the league. Real shame they’ve not been able to get any pre season minutes yet.

Does seem odd to be investing game time in Asante over say Rowe/Clark/Kabongo if he's not expected to be here but also would be gutted to see any of them injured pre-season

Surely with the fractures though if they're healed they're healed and pre-season is just more likely to help stave off injuries and aid match fitness rather than the opposite?

Oh well, sounds like we're playing well, I'll stop moaning

Odd to give someone match time over someone that is t quite ready to go yet, really!!

Not really. Before Kabby came, Asante was top scorer. If he finds his shooting boots we will be fine. There’s no guarantees Kabby will come back firing on all cylinders.

Totally Agree, Kabby might not be the same player

I can see Gyasi, Quigley and Asante both netting into double fugues each next campaign, that’s even before you factor in Rowe and Kabby returning.

In fact I’d be intrigued to find out top scorer odds on Gyasi next season.

Bratfud's first game next week. So obvs they're not going at 100 %. But still...

PS: my first listen to '1866', but whilst it might be unprofessional any chance of refering to 'Town' rather than 'Chesterfield' on our own radio station?
