Flares thrown on the pitch on numerous occasions and the dealing with said flares being somewhat none PC and H&S safety conscious ie. picking them up and chucking them off the pitch.
Having stewards etc policing away fans but doing nowt to stop a large % of the crowd invading the pitch with flares goading away fans and allowing someone to pick up a cornerflag run the full length of the pitch and hurl it into a crowd of opposition fans in full view of countless but inactive alleged stewards
Anyone know why Cookie got very animated on at least 2 occasions in the 1st half with what looked like a crowd control officer?
It'll be interesting to see how/if the NL management have any reaction to todays events which without argument bought the NLs credibility into disrepute

Back to the sh..housery. An interesting extract from their message board by some deep thinker 'Griff79'
"However the div wearing the Villa shirt who threw the corner at away fans should be looking at a lengthy ban also the organised running onto the pitch by staff/management was a little cringe."
So the hierarchy encouraged a pitch invasion f... me didn't they realise the potential outcome with what's happened in the last few weeks ie someone losing an eye to some hastily propelled corner flag. What a complete set of morons. I'll finish with a quote re solihull I've used for 3-4 years "a club rotten from the top"

It was definitely pre planned/arranged. They absolutely peppered the front of the away end with stewards/police but not a sole around any of the home ends. The plan was definitely, let the home fans come onto the pitch and keep the away fans from coming off it. **** up in a brewery springs to mind, but after the fiasco with the tickets it doesn't suprise me one bit.
There's plenty of footy of the lad launching the corner flag like a missile flying about so no doubt he will be getting a visit fairly soon.

Spireites Police @SpireitesPolice
Anyone with any footage of the male in the Villa shirt who decided to launch the corner flag into the way end following the game, please send me the footage.
He also asked if anyone was hit by it which thankfully doesnt appear to have happened. Someone jokingly asked if they didnt have CCTV and he confirmed they dont hence why he was after any fan footage.

Good.
They also want to be looking at whose responsible for the root cause ie if the pitch invasion hadnt been encouraged then away fans wouldn't have been put in danger relying on luck(bad aim) to avoid injury.

Correct. He must have known it was safe too hold like the stewards were confident to pick them up. Why would they be so confident if they thought some scroat had bought them. The evidence does imply they were provided by the club.
Is encouraging the throwing of flares/smoke bombs and also encouraging pitch invasions by the club within the spirit of the game?
If this is the case they are actively encouraging public order offences.

that is a bit of a leap.
the stewards I saw pick the smoke bombs up had something similar to welding gloves on & sand buckets to put them in. something our group often comment on when one is thrown on a pitch & the stewards dither about like its an uxb.
the pitch invasion was always going to happen & Id say there weren't enough stewards to stop everybody coming on so they prioritised stopping us getting on the pitch as well & the carnage that would have ensued.
the villa Zulu got 2hatted outside & will be getting a knock at some point. no cctv in the ground is unbelievable in this day & age.
this is no way defending smfc as they are the worst organised club ive ever been to inc fa cup games. harrow had more idea how to organise the match day.
& if theres any justice itll disappear back from whence they came.

"Dr Livingstone, I presume from the Villa shirt and the corner post?"
