Webb has taken a real back seat in recent weeks and surely will have found it tough since Cookie brought his own right hand man in.
I expect him to move on.

What is your retained list for next season?
I'll start.
Hollis
Croll
Grimes
King
Oyeleke
Khan
Kabby
Clarke
Whittle
Mandeville
Carline
Rowe
Dons tin hat
Oyeleke no. We were warned by Vale fans on this board that despite being a good player he’s injury prone. And he is.

Stockport didn’t inquire about Tshimanga in January. Why do you post that? Please explain your source? Stop having a fixation about Wrexham and Stockport.

Agree on this….Oyeleke is a great player but needs to be 100% fit
Cookie is all about consistency & plays the same team as much as he can….especially the critical spine of the team. It’s the main reason he had success here last time.
It was a bridge too far today, but you can see Cooks identity set in the team & the way we play.

can't be any room for 2nd or 3rd chances, we've fallen victim to this too many times.
so i'd release the following;
weston, mandeville, minter, kellerman, mccourt, tyson, payne, denton, hollis, kerr, rowley.
there are question marks over a few others but that's my starting point which makes 11 out, 5 or 6 in and we have to hope that the likes of tschimanga, rowe, carline and clarke can play a full season and be the players we have seen

Not according do the Board did they . He was just returning to fitness . £100 big ones for Asante. We would have snapped their hands off. You know that didn’t happen. Nick and Sam say he needs to move agents. You’re under pressure.

If Mandy played like yesterday every game no one would want him to leave

Thing is we're a LOT better with him than without. Isn't it better to have him for 25-30 games...
For me its
Kabby
King
Grimes or Croll
Hollis or Kerr
Manny O
Miller (As left winger / LB cover if they can train him to not try and beat a man 4x)
Whittle
Rowe (if he's okay)
Kellerman (hoping with a cookie full pre-season he can be as good as he was)
Asante
Khan
Clarke
Mandy if cheap
Laurance M if cheap
Carline if cheap
Williams (as a right back if cheap)
Which is 13-16
Plus Loach (if he under contract)
Priorities would be
A Goalie
A quick centre half
A Manny type midfeilder
A winger (to push king/miller and Asante)
A striker

New GK - (As mentioned, Loach a good shot stopper but he can't claim anything out the air and he's got poor distribution)
King
New CB
New CB
Whittle
Manny (If he can prove fitness, he's too good for this league it's just about keeping him fit)
New CM
New Wide Player
Clarke
New Wide Player
Kabby
Bench: Rowe, Carline, Khan, Maguire, Asante, Williams, Mandeville, Miller
Leaves released: Loach, Minter, McCourt, Denton, Tyson, Rowley, Payne, Kellerman, Hollis, Weston, Kerr, Grimes (pains me as he's been decent just isn't a cook player)
In Contract Players to move on: Whelan, Quigley (heard Cook already wants his contract paying up), Gunning (off to Fylde?)

I thought he played quite well up to the point when I posted that I thought he was playing quite well.
He was decent in the first 20 minutes or so but where was he in the second half?
Then add in his performance against Halifax and I would argue he was lucky to get a starting berth yesterday.
And then, of course, over the season the only thing in his favour was that he was able to play the number of games which he did when others were unable to do so.

Complete baller at this level
I like him. He runs his socks off and he's a pest but his end product is almost non existent. Similar to Mandeville, I'd get rid of them both
