Cook won't leave him out no matter what but the closest he came to acheiving anything on Tuesday night was getting sent off and possibly costing us the game. The converse of that was he wasted two excellent chances to make our win more comfortable than it was.

I disagree about now hardly being the time to rest anyone because nobody should expect the other nine outfield players to carry anybody. As much as possible everyone has to be 100% full of running in our next game.

Mandeville isn't 100% full of running. He has skill but he is physically weaker than most players and is done for after about an hour. He is by no means an athlete. I'd give him no more than 60 mins and replace with Rowley depending on circumstances.

Stick a pin in the donkey’s backside for Soulless Moors I think. Can’t help thinking that playing the standard CF role would play into the hands of the opposition unless we start to play them at their own game and go down at the slightest contact.
Need someone with a bit more mobility up there (even though DR was excellent this week no one can describe him as that - he’s just got more up there to compensate).
I’m not paid to make this decision but I hope (for only the 2nd occasion this season) the manager can find the right mix
🙏

Definitely 4-2-3-1 with the same 10 plus Dents (but hopefully Asante).
The big plus for me on Tuesday was the pressure on the ball from our midfield even before we scored and particularly when we had a lead. Great energy and commitment which has been missing under PC but, if we can replicate, will give us a chance on Sunday. COYB.

I think with their form, they expect to win….definitely no expectations from the majority of spireites….play with the PC identity like we did on Tuesday & it will be a good game.

I found Ardleys interview quite interesting, he mentioned the words,IF & losing so many times….showing the expectations on Solihull are high.

There’s an air of something in this match & can see it getting tasty & nasty…..we need to keep our cool & not fall for the shithousery tactics that they use

In case anyone interested, I've seen on Facebook that the players are leaving today about 2pm although some are going by car and will be going about 1.30. just incase anyone wants to go and give the lads a good send off with not being able to go tomorrow.

Will the players have to pay to park their cars?

I'd sooner play Scott Loach as striker rather than Denton or Quigley!

Seriously, if Asanate isn't fit I'd go with Khan as the main striker. Even playing out of position he'd be more effective than the useless pair of big men who wouldn't make a player between them. I thought Khan was excellent on Tuesday. Indeed along with the injured Kabby and Clarke he's probably the best player in the squad. I'd give Rowley a chance if Asante doesn't make it. And let's hope Weston is stil unfit. Anything but Quigley, Denton and Weston playing any part. Agree about Mandeville's limitations, but there are few other options and maybe he might come good as Miller did. Leave Tyson until the last half hour.

Quigley in for Rowe. Subtlty replaced by all in wrestling. Like I said he should have played Khan up front and brought Rowely in instead of persisting with Quigley who has been given more than enough chances. Hope I'm wrong but I doubt it as Quigley is so predictable.
