So the home team can give us 575 tickets for a final ? - I'm happy its an 'occasion' at a decent Stadium - it wouldn't take too much organising to give options based on North, South and Central - with the finals being the one nearest to both finalist.
Once the 6 Teams are known they could publish which locations it would be based on the possible final permutations.

Exactly my thoughts.

The furthest south any of the teams in our league's play-offs was Birmingham. Surely there's a decent ground north of Watford Gap the final could have been played at being good from a fans cost point of view and being more environmentally friendly.

Even that lot other side of the M1 had to travel down to London to play Port Vale. Just why?

Then, surely, if a London based side gets to the finals of any competition against a Northern based side those southern fans get a better deal as regards travelling costs etc which could mean a biased attendance unless it's full capacity.

More expensive than Wembley prices + £4 transaction fee per ticket and £0.99 email fee. They are taking the mick

According to @jonb in the middle of the Wembley prices, excluding extra fees. And lets be honest, had we got through would you rather have been going to the London Stadium or Ashton Gate?

For the League One play off final 2 divisions above yes. League two, even cheaper.
Doesn't matter to me where it's being played in all fairness. Us being there is the main factor that i'm after in a play off final.

No, Ian, I'd prefer the King Power or the Etihad or somewhere similar when northern based teams from our league are to compete in a play-off final. They are plenty big enough and easier to travel to. Less mileage makes them more affordable and more environmentally friendly.

But would those clubs make them available? I'm with you - they never should have built the new Wembley in Wembley in my opinion too! But I would imagine that most large premier league stadiums will be having their pitches relaid, maybe holding concerts and other events etc, they can only choose the options that are available. What about something like Bramhall Lane or Hillsborough if they were available, would you prefer them?

They cant leave it to see who gets through as these things will be reserved 12 months ahead and contracts written. They cant hold half a dozen just in case as all of the clubs who have their grounds held would want a fee. They have to pick a ground that might be attractive to the players and the fans and hope it works at the end of the season, I imagine there was a view that the London Stadium is quite grand and glamorous, all train lines head to London so everyone can get there, so it will be ok.

If we are getting environmental, all matches should be screened to save the planet.... Financial cost in the current climate is certainly an issue but football is now a very expensive hobby!
Stay Home. Stay Safe.

All with new scarves….

Fair play to the 1500-2000 regular fans. I don’t begrudge anyone supporting their local town. Let’s be honest it’s what we do when there are “bigger” local clubs

1500-2000 regular fans??? Where? We took around 900 this season and there were less than 2000. They have around 1000 regulars, if they're lucky

It’s a good job the EFL and Premiership had finished.

Just to round off my thoughts about Sunday I just would like to comment on our experience of buying the last available box at £1000 plus vat. 10 people accommodated and 2 parking spots, £10 each for any more. One bottle of beer, you had to pay for the £5 programme. Initially charged for tea and coffee but on complaining this was reimbursed. We all got a free scarf!
Food was 'unlimited' bacon and sausage cobs and veggie sausages. These ran out at half time and they took away the meat during the second half.
The staff were hard working and pleasant but the 2 available toilets were out of action for most of the time with no water to flush or wash.
Tin pot. I'm not having it.
BTW. We arrived around 10.50 and had to queue to park. We were the last 4 of our party and dressed smart casual. All 4 of us walked straight into the ground past the security and could have stayed in to watch the match but had to go out again to collect wristbands. Waste of £100 quid? No way. Happy to contribute to their promotion bid - provided that the kid in Villa shirt is fined heavily and given a life ban.🤣😇🤑

Sounds very well organised and an unforgettable experience 😄 Out of interest was you located anywhere near the directors box and if so being able to shed any light on the 'Cookie incident?'

£1000 for a hospitality for 10 at Solihull? Jeez.

So this is the reason why West Ham’s ground was chosen. Extremely disrespectful to the likes of Chesterfield and Grimsby

https://twitter.com/...13VgSxr1oZlJFfQ

Sounds like the ticket sales are a mess with areas blocked off due to seats being removed for concerts and clubs allocations split around the stadium

Now we know why boredom failed so late. They was hoping for a pay out from a 50/60,000 gate which would have been more financially beneficial than them getting there

Any profit will only be if the crowd is over 33,000 once expenses are paid out!

By all accounts there are no seats available behind the goals as they've been removed ahead of staging concerts and a monster truck event! This photo was on twitter and someone now says it may be an old one but shows what its likely looking like currently anyhow.

At one point in the season the Play Off final could have easily been Solihull v Borehamwood. Can you imagine. They could have played the final at Staveley MW.

Not sure what the other events are but I am at a concert on 24 June. You would have thought there would be time after Sunday to sort out the seating.
