That’ll be good for my 16 year old taking his GCSEs

I make a point of not responding to your posts but on this occasion it raises a valid point.
As galling as it maybe for your son imagine how galling it would be for a season ticket holder having queued for awhile and the bloke infront of him got say 5 for mates and fellow ticket holders (Sat at home as far as you know) and the sold out sign appeared. Now that would be galling.

In your instance maybe the father should do the fatherly thing queue for a ticket and give it his son.

Probably fair to say whatever the club decides there will be winners and losers. At least we won’t have this problem for the final 👍

Yep once your in the realms of an allocation like is being talked about for this one its impossible to have something that suits everyone.

So basically anyone who is retired gets a ticket. Seems fair...

Grimsby put some online and some in-person for their trip to Wrexham. But their allocation isn't impossibly small. Eek

I might be THAT guy if needs must. There's probably 12/14 of us with STs but not many of us can make it down to the ground. Couple of us are in a position to queue up before work as we WFH so I could be down there with about 8 STs in all fairness :D

That's what i've heard, allocation was around 700 but obviously players, staff, sponsors etc take a cut. I've missed 2 aways so preparing myself for a early morning to queue.

I get the feeling Solihull would keep our allocation limited even if they haven't sold out their home allocation. They wouldn't want "Home" advantage jeopardised by a larger and louder "Away" following. A lot of clubs do it in this League.

This encourages away fans to buy in home stands...unless they have sold 5k which is slightly hard to believe

It's not in 'all fairness' to the ones behind you in the queue who have made the effort compared to the ones that haven't, that you are representing.

They've either sold that many or they are playing the game to maximise home advantage as happened in some of the EFL play off games. They only had to allocate 10% or minimum of 2000 i think and Sunderland\Sheff Wed both only sold 2000 and had empty space in away ends whilst MK Dons allocated two split blocks of 1000ish each to Wycombe!!

Could be that those who get a ticket find themselves with plenty of room as Solihull have allocated the minimum they have to but the area normally holds more.

They have already put the home tickets on sale and sold out of them so no chance of any CFC fans buying in the home end so they can do what they want with away tickets really.

Why do you think it's virtuous to literally queue? I can't travel from Manchester to queue for mine, if it has to be done I will ask my mate nicely.

The club could (if they have time to arrange it) put a big screen up in the carpark or on the pitch in front of the kop and open the concourses and make a ton of money off of this given the minimal tickets we're gonna get.
Here we go again!
