What makes them even worse is that they’ve lost 1 from their last 22 in the league ( and that was against the eventual Champions on a ludicrous run of their own ) and they’ve got a home tie against a side that almost fell into the playoffs cos no one behind them wanted it, on a rotten run with most key players out injured, yet this is how they conduct themselves.

They can’t even back themselves without resorting to this kind of conduct.

I wonder how BT will explain it away that the away end is half empty and closed off?

I wish Cookie and any of the players interviewed by BT would labour the point on air how disappointing it is that a game of this importance isn’t being played in front of a full house and the reason why.

They may be where they are in the league standings on merit but they are certainly a club who do not deserve to be anywhere near the EFL.

If what Marcia says is true and no doubt it is, about then not being contactable yesterday and then they are withholding 500 tickets, surely some junior journo should be interested in the reasons behind the story.
Is that Virgin bloke at BT on twitter his sit on the fence opinion would be interesting

Hear hear.

Reminds me of a Wimbledon mentality of old. And look how that played out.

I think if enough are suggesting it then they will have to consider it.

It's one thing having a spiteful away allocation, it's another to be so tinpot that despite them knowing the date of the game for 2 weeks, they ensure their opponent has 1 working day to deal with sales.

It’s crap but 500 tickets is probably serving a couple of hundred people in reality. Won’t be an issue for ticket office just crap for supporters who will queue probably for nothing

This whole thread makes my stomach churn

What a vile, scummy club this is. If they do go on and beat us I can tell you I will be a GRIMSBY/WREXHAM fan for the day!!

To make matters worse looks like I might be able to get a match ticket but will not be able to go !! If I do I will put it up on here for sale

Have I ever told you how much I respect you as a poster on this board? Without doubt my number 1. Just wanted to put that out there. :ninja:

I'd go a little further, as a bowler I thought he had a lovely action and as captain he always made the correct decision. Have you still got that 2 headed coin?

Do we think it’ll be a queuing up like the old days.

It’s got to be much easier for the club to just do it online.

If they sell down there I’d think they’d have to bring in more staff and stewards, logistically it wouldn’t be ridiculous but would be a headache dropped on their toes they could do without.

And the scenario would be quite probable that there would be far too many folk for the tickets that would have queued up with no chance of getting owt.

Before the ticketing arrangements are announced let’s just bear in mind you will be a very lucky guy to get that ticket in your hand.

The club have been put in an awful position with the numbers supplied. The majority of us are going to be disappointed so lay off our admin, these a people doing their job under instruction. If you visit the club give them a break if you get bad news, don’t forget you are in the majority AND IT’S NOT THEIR FAULT.

Let’s be nice for a change.

You ok hun?

I’m not sure our infrastructure could cope online.

I’m all for old style queueing. And will be doing bacon rolls at £2.00, bacon and sos £3. Includes free sauce.

We will be queueing like the old days but we’ll all be back home by 11am.
