The pitch looked horrific yesterday, which JR also alluded to.
5 games in a row won’t make it any better.
Maybe I should start doing some exercises on my neck in preparation.

I don't think I can watch Loach smash it up to quigley for over 450 mins on that pitch in Feb. They have 2 weeks to show it some light and love and get back to playing football on the deck. Let's see who we bring in this week.

And be 4 points clear of us when (or I guess I should say if) they beat Barnet at 3pm next Saturday.

God I hope it’s someone with some creativity who can get the ball down on the deck.

When Sutcliffe and Turner's 'academy' rented a pitch at (I think) Gosforth, I'm led to believe the Club used it, too.
At what I'm told was a very, well, 'competitive' rate.
Maybe we should now point the Blunts in that direction...

Apart from the fee we receive, which I imagine must be absolute piecemeal, I don’t understand the benefits whatsoever of us allowing them to use our ground. It’s not like they loan us any of there promising players or anything. Door must be shown to these when the deal is up. If the Blunts want a ground, go to Rotherham.

He’s pitching for us to sign Roberts, we’ve had an offer refused and he’s trying to cajole the board in to increasing our offer by “bypassing” midfield during the game to highlight the need for a creative player in the middle?

Given the number of players he’s already signed it would be an incredibly childish thing to do.

wouldn't put it past him, really like JR but he is a bit mardy at times or perhaps he's cute in the way he will do whatever it takes to acheieve the long term goal.
remember liverpools and clough's forest teams playing football on much worse surfaces than that in yesteryear, so who knows sammy you may be on to something there.
