Anyway, back to Borehamwood. Much as I want to watch the match tonight, I'm not giving that club my money. Firstly due to their dreadful attitude to and treatment of fans, visiting media etc and secondly because they've managed to benefit from the pandemic funding in a way that was completely at odds with its intention.

With that in mind and noting similar feelings from others, if someone does want to purchase and stream it for others somewhere (I'm no expert on this) I'd be more than happy to chuck a few quid in the pot to cover the purchasers costs with the rest given to a suitable good cause.

Despite all my above posts I do really dislike Boreham Wood as they shafted me work wise so let’s hope they get hammered

They are little ****ers aren't they? You'd think in the current climate they'd be doing all they can to make sure as many fans can follow the game - especially given how much listening to/streaming the game means to some folk who have not a lot else to look forward too at the moment.
I really do begrudge giving them money, but for the same reasons as mentioned above, I want to see the game.

Yep - I've bought the stream but as you say begrudgingly.

This is massive - luckily I'm able to buy the streams but £10 a game isn't cheap and lots of families / supporters won't be able to and therefore rely on volunteers such as Al to keep them in the loop with the game.

Proper dickh**d move from Borehamwood and even more reason for us to go there tonight and stuff em.

Yes a bit like last season, whereby match day prices were advertised at 'X' if bought on the day but 'Y' (£2 cheaper I cant remember the exact price) if bought in advance. We enquired about the advance tickets but was told it was policy that they could only be purchased at the ground
In effect making the match price 'Y' but ripping away fans of for 2quid and having to stand on decrepit terrace.

And by making it difficult for opposition radio they hope to sell more streams

Laughable - hope we stuff them.

I bet they are furious that they cannot stop the local BBC radio station 3 counties radio from doing commentary though which is available on the internet through the BBC sport app

Lets hope we stuff a few goals past that obnoxious **** Ashmore

They (BBC Three Counties) would have paid an annual fee though as every BBC station does.

What's more laughable is with them only averaging 600ish home fans you'd think they try to be accommodating.

I'm not very good at internet searching, but I cant find an equivalent to BB for them I thought it would have been interesting to see a response if a link to this thread was posted however with my IT skills i would have been backing a loser

Interestingly in their match preview of tonight's game - they are calling Maguire "The Destroyer".

Do you think the lack of a pre-match press conference is because of covid (or have I just missed it)?

They seem a thoroughly dislikable club based on what I’ve heard and read.

Anyone who has the inclination do it can do so pretty easily it seems. I don’t expect to find any Town fans willing to go down that route for our home games though - suspect if they tried it they’d get pretty short thrift.

Good man. Nominate a charity/good cause and watchers can give to that rather than Borehamwood. Any other club in the division I wouldn’t be encouraging it, but they’re ar5eholes.
