I'll tell you why you got your three reds.
You and Walton call him a "clogger" which is your opinion that you are more than welcome to have but that "clogger" is the team captain. We have a new manager in place that is turning the negativity around and has decided that our team captain should be that same "clogger".
A club from two divisions higher than us deemed him to be good enough to play for them and you both insult him by calling him a "clogger".
So to summarise up.
He's playing better for the new manager, he's team captain still and he is/was on the shopping list of a league one club. He's not a "clogger", he's been poor in poor sides.
But of course that's my opinion.

Define the term “clogger”?

A defender who is a head it away kick it away type, but who’s distribution is generally poor, and lacking football abilities in terms of skill on the ball?

Sounds like Evans to me.

Yes he’s improved under this manager, helped by having Hollis along side and a midfield worthy of the name in front of him, but a cultured CB he is not.
A new hope.

Evans and Hollis are both cloggers. Doesn’t mean they’re rubbish.

Its the national league, if they were cultured centre backs with great distribution skills then they might be playing at a higher player.... assuming they can tackle and head as well!

I arrest my case

Sounds like Steve Blatherwick to me. Nowt wrong with him. One of the best "cloggers" (head it and kick it centre back in my language ) I've seen at Town. Nowt wrong with a head it and kick it centre back at this level and the two above (Anderson at Doncaster) - some are better than others but they don't have to be magicians.

Why did you ask me to define the term "clogger" only to proceed to think up your own definition for the word?

A quick search on Google defines term:-

INFORMAL•BRITISH

a footballer who habitually fouls other players when tackling.

"I was a right clogger, always kicking people
.

Of course, that's if you want to use the literal version of the term but I was replying to a post asking why they had received negative marks. The term "clogger" when first used in post No13 didn't exactly come across as a complimentary one which was all the more highlighted when followed up with "would not miss him at all".
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Can you point out a goal against us this season that has been his fault?

The goal conceded at Boston was the goalie's fault, but which CH was supposed to be marking the scorer?
Which CH or CH's were at fault for the goals conceded at Solihull?
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Because your definition of a clogger MAY differ to mine.
A new hope.

Indeed. You won’t find many CB bringing the ball out from the back at this level.
A new hope.

And if they do they're usually lacking in other areas - see Maguire (I like him though).

Been listening to Jonathan Smith doing a live zoom broadcast with Swindon Town supporters club that he plugged on twitter.

He was asked about the interest in Evans. Said when asked that he'd spoken to Evans about it, but had concluded it's unlikely to happen with the interest from Swindon not being strong enough.

More than happy for him to stay (he’ll be pleased to know). Can’t be starting three left footed centre backs.

Wash your mouth out with soap and water.

Can you imagine Evans going on a Blathers solo run, beating half the opposing team?

I can’t imagine them pre-recording “Today’s Man of the Match, Will Evans” as we had to for the Great Man back at Saltergate.
These go to eleven.
