I’d say he doesn’t have extreme anti semitic or race hate ideology- I’d say he is the extreme free market ideology that would be the he worst of what Marx and Engels warned against, and would be the end game if the world didn’t unite against free capitalism - read the book das capaital by them. It’s their view on the free market after visiting the sweat shop factories and slum accommodation in the mills, such as owned by Arkwright in places like cromford just past Matlock


Which became the ideology I turned to 30 years ago. No race. No religion. Do the best for the working class in your country. Make the life of the poor in your country as good as it can be by fighting to oppose the rich creaming profits off the back off those people and sharing it among the lowest paid.

Fascism comes in many forms. You could easily argue that ISIS and their extremist version of Islam is a religious form of fascism

So I definitely agree he embodies the worst of free market capitalism. Do I think he is a Nazi in the sense of he wants to exterminate a group of people based on their race/religion etc? Probably not. He is a complete chancer who I think would support whoever he predicts will be the winning team. Do I think he’s taken a lot from his time growing up in apartheid South Africa on board? Yes. He grew up with servants at his beck and call. His Grandparents moved from Canada to SA and his Grandfather at least was a fervent apartheid supporter and self-confessed fan of the Nazis and was arrested and imprisoned for this. He then formed a political movement rooted in antisemitism. Does the rotten apple fall far from the rotten tree? This is without mentioning his Dad who made his fortune in Zambian emerald mines where workers were borderline slaves working in horrific conditions.

He sieg heiled twice on stage - I said it was clear earlier, I meant it was clear to me; the salute is just about vague enough to cast doubt into the minds of reasonable people (who give the right a bit too much leeway) like you. He isn’t goose-stepping. His arm isnt at precisely the correct height and angle. You could call it a dog-whistle salute, in that he performed the salutes at a Trump rally and the right absolutely understood what he was doing - tonnes of right wing groups and popular figures responded with support and acknowledgement for the salutes - but also media outlets probably couldn’t refer to it definitively as a Nazi salute and there was enough doubt for your average Joe to consider the possibility that he didn’t do what their eyes just told them he did - so in many ways, it was the perfect dog whistle.

Do I think he performed those salutes thinking ‘I want X race to be destroyed’? No. But that doesn’t matter to me - he performed the salutes, and that, in my eyes, makes him a Nazi. Just like when I’ve seen British men who are members of far right groups doing similar - they are Nazis. I don’t need to listen to them speak to try and figure out if they’re TRUE Nazis or just people performing the salutes. I don’t owe them that level of consideration. These people are scum. Musk is scum. It is a binary issue for me. They know what these gestures mean and they perform them anyway.
