In the same way that Labour needed to do the exact opposite to most things served up by Johnson's government, all Badenoch had to do was to avoid offering any sort of comment on his ability.

Unbelievably there's still an unhealthy number of Tory members in denial about both Johnson and Truss.

Badenoch claiming she'd 'tell the truth' before almost immediately legitimising their behaviour is exactly the 'say first, think second' previous peppering her past...

However you had no problem voting for a Labour where she was a shadow health minister in twenty fifteen, and no problem voting for a Labour where she was shadow home secretary in twenty seventeen (you were unsurprisingly wrong - again - to say she was shadow foreign secretary).

So the question remains what changed about DA between those two elections and you endorsing Johnson....?
