If he never spoke of it how do you know of it 🤔

In the broader sense it's common knowledge. I would imagine his wife could tell. Or do you think I'm that sick to make something as personal as that up?

Sometimes it would be better to think for about 20 seconds before posting to avoid making yourself look silly.

Really?

I find Germans, especially the younger generation really decent people. Friendly and approachable

I lived in Germany for over 8 years, really nice people who were welcoming and friendly. I still go there on holidays to this day.

Fishini has a LOT of hate bottled up for all kinds of people, thats just the way he has always been.

Yesterday another government representative, this time some junior nobody called Jenrick, stood in front of the media patting himself and his colleagues on the back amidst talk of all the gear they're supposedly delivering.

Yet: https://www.crowdfun...masks4nhsheroes

Whilst health professional after health professional gives lie to 'honest' Johnson's 'We're stockpiling PPE' of three weeks - that's THREE WEEKS - ago.

So please don't anyone accuse those highlighting these issues of somehow 'politicising' Covid when staff are being sent unprotected onto the frontline by those hypocritically applauding them...

I’m sure you don’t mean it, but SOMETIMES you come across a bit like Walton, who SEEMS to take a bit of glee out of when Town lose and a bit a disappointment when we win

It SEEMS like he almost wants us to lose...because that would further his argument

While I don’t doubt the veracity of your story and am very sorry to hear of it, as someone who has been living in Japan for a good while now, I can assure you that there are just as many good and bad folk here as anywhere else in the world and the majority would listen to your mother in laws’ father’s story, were he alive and willing to tell it, with great regret and shame. My wife is Japanese and my daughter half-Japanese and they, like the rest of us here, and all of you over there, and almost everywhere now in the world are facing a common threat that should bind us more closely in the one thing we certainly share - our humanity - than anything or anyone that seeks to tear us apart. And though I quoted your post, Mr M., this is in no way solely aimed at you.

Which is a silly thing to even suggest because why would anybody enjoy this. Holding Government to account does not equal happiness at the current situation.

Sorry it was in no way a slight on the Japanese people of today, rather looking at fishinis take on not having anything to do with Germans after what happened during the war and wondering if he felt the same way to Japan etc. People shouldn't pay for the sins of years gone by and you should take people of all kinds as you find them today.
