Pretty sure they haven’t said that. There’s been one communication from the Trust on the takeover which didn’t mention the management.

They didn’t - it was Carson in his address to the staff who said he wouldn’t be going anywhere, until the takeover

They can’t come out before a deal has been done though and say they will sack him can they.
The massive thing is wether they can afford to pay him off

Time for you to send your offer to the Trust again now CPS. Let us know how you go on. I think it's too late in the day to stop relegation now though - you would be on a hiding to nothing if Denton wasn't transformed along with the rest. Pre-season to NLN beckons for the right fitness coach I reckon.

I suppose DA couldn't care less if he keeps Sheridan if he's selling up soon but the bigger picture rather can we not afford to sack him, but can we afford not to.
I'm finally in the "relegation with Sheridan is a certainty" camp now.

Unless there are clauses written into his contract then unfortunately football doesn't work like that, you can't just say cause we are low in the league they can be fired with no compo, otherwise our entire playing team would be in danger.
We should have started putting failure clauses into managers contracts after the Saunders debacle to ensure against huge losses of compo everytime we sack someone but like everything else the club just doesn't learn and keeps on giving out long and lucrative deals to managers and then has to suffer the consequences when the payouts come.

Recently every manager has been appointed in desperate circumstances, for example CT pleading with DW to come on board. Saunders, Jack, Sheridan all carrying the whip hand when negotiating their deal, the appointment sold to them with the promise of a transfer kitty. BUT as soon as they sign it seems their wage demands are taken out of any transfer kitty leaving little left. Of course the managers going to say it is what it is - he's sitting pretty financially.

I said to my daughter before I left home that it was a new year but same old blind faith. I think the team were blind drunk or just blind based on today’s showing. And whilst I don’t expect the greatest footballing skill these days, I do expect some professional pride and commitment and sadly most don’t look that bothered...
Anybody know if we will be in the north or south region of the next tier - as an exile, regional football in the north will impact my attendance at away games!
