would love the club to put together a q and a with him and to state if I were involved I would enter into this with respect to him as a person and not attack but like the chance to ask some searching questions.

agree, said in another thread that if he stubbornly sees out his contract knowing that financially we can't afford to sack him, we will be in league 7 by the time he's done.

Please see many comments on Warfey’s post match post. All this “we can’t afford to sack him” is nonsense. Out him now and let him fight a battle for loss of office, if he dares. I can’t understand why so many contributors on Bob’s Board are so obsessed with this issue.

He’s probably got more money than the club to fight a loss of office. Managers always get paid off.

apologies I hadn't read warfeys thread at all. I see what you're saying and agree but football does seem to have its own set of rules sadly. the club is also currently in limbo, seemingly allen won't him sack him, he's sacked others for less, the new regime are not at the decision making table yet even if they wanted to sack him. as for Sheridan himself he either a) believes he can still turn it around b) does not care as he's getting paid

Shezz getting sacked let’s him off the hook, if we’re going to get relegated he should be in charge and own it otherwise it’s not his doing or the bloke who replaces him

The fans could nudge him out. If we filled the stadium for the next couple of home games, that should generate enough cash to pay shezza off and give the trust a fresh start. It would also be very embarrassing for him knowing the ground was full for the sole reason of sacking him.

To me, your argument makes little sense. You seem to be prioritising making sure Shezza carries the can for what you imply is an inevitable relegation rather than putting the club’s plight first. Though increasingly unlikely by the match, whileever it is still possible, for the sake of the club and its future, doing anything possible to try and avoid yet another relegation should be the priority. With this leech calling the shots re the team, (complete lack of) training and tactics, that chance is approximately nil. Get rid of the clown now and at least try and save us from further disaster.

The problem is, we can't get rid of him now and he knows it. Allen certainly won't pay him off now the sale is going through. The Trust can't do anything until they own the club which by all accounts is to be mid feb at the earliest, I hope we won't be all but relegated by then. The thing that worries me is that if we get several hundred more fans coming back on Saturday because of the takeover and they witness the appalling soccer we have seen by the worst cfc team ever then they may never come back.

What, the world's most expensive toilet cleaner nah, sack Crossley and Snodin then tell Sheridan that Warnock is coming in as consultant , that should do it.

Regarding this so called "complete lack of training" do we have any actual evidence that this is the case or is this just heresay?

To be fair, it’s from what I keep reading on here from various sources - a few/3 times per week for a few hours each or something like that (please someone in the know confirm). Apparently, the other day, scheduled training was abruptly cancelled (again, from a source on here). Seeing as how many times we’ve conceded late goals and commentators have remarked on how unfit we look and tire towards ends of games, it seems to add up.

The league table can point to a lot of things which is wrong, Chris.
Management not being driven by the owners/board.
Poor recruitment resulting in an unbalanced squad.
Tactics not suited to the players or league we are in.
Illness and injuries to key players.
Lack of a fitness coach even though when we had one results were just as bad.
Obviously, a lot of these issues fall firmly at the feet of JS.
But, my question about "lack of training" was simply to try and find out as to whether or not this is true or false because, so far, from what I have read on these boards I have seen rumour being been turned into fact.
Now, according to JS, there are a number of players suffering from illness. If this is the case I can understand those particular players requiring as much rest as possible particularly over the busy Christmas and New Year period we are coming to an end to.
