the blame lies with one man who is the highest paid manager in this league John Sheridan
he has wasted possibly the biggest player budget in the league.

I remember making a pact with my mate during Caldwell's first season saying we'd leave as soon as Town went two down. Which meant landlords were pulling us a pint well before the break most weeks.
I remember turning down freebies rather than witness us finishing bottom of the entire ninety two as a result of his second.
I remember watching from afar as nondescript non-league nobody after nondescript non-league nobody turned up to humiliate us last year.
And now we seem to be proving no depth is too deep all over again.
The Club is cursed, and nowt's gonna change until there's a total exorcism...

Photos and comments from those few there suggest a physical attendance of between 1500 and 2000.

well what have you got to say about the first 45mins Mr Sheridan, 82 seconds and one down. The your starman the best centre half in this division according to you f**ks up and its two nil game over.
I could say more I am just glad I decided not to go tonight over 50 years of following chesterfield and I feel empty. if I was as poor as you at my job (and it is not in a results based environment) I would have been sacked or pride would have me resign.

Doesn’t look that many from the pics I’ve seen Tim. You could probably count them if you’d nowt better to do!

I was racking my brains for impossible positivity and then realised Brampton Rovers are now bigger than CFC, so if anyone wants to watch our under 16s it £2 a game and a tenner for a season ticket....and we play football....bring on the takeover

Coddington injured now and all subs used. That just about sums up our season.
