As mentioned elsewhere they made an approach for Evatt but Barrow turned it down flat and in their statement about it apparently Evatt said he had no interest in taking the job.

Evo wants to stop where he is, from what I've seen of both teams against us, Barrow are the better option to make the EFL. In 4 games we've played against them Fylde have never impressed me once especially Rowe.

I suppose losing to us is enough to get anyone sacked...

Evo wants to stay where his is, his performance there won’t have gone un noticed, and I’m sure that if he manages to get Barrow into the play offs by the end of the season a league club will come calling.

The last thing he needs to do is come here under the current regime
A new hope.

The bubble burst and their board panicked and did what they think proper grown up chairmen are supposed to do. He's a decent manager at this level, and we could do a lot worse. In fact I suspect that we will.

Ian evatt wants to stay at barrow if he has any sense. They have one of the smaller budgets in the league And are part fan owned. as long as he keeps them up he will probably stay in a job. How many times do managers jump to a club lower down the league for more money only for it to go sour after a few month.

Nobody could have predicted how well he would do in his first attempt at NL management. He has signed a better squad than Shez for doubtless less money. I'd like to think he would return here. More potential and there's the history and local ity

He aint coming back whilst the current lot are in charge, if we get sorted with new owners then he may consider it.
