We’re not the only ones to not be playing today....Barrows home game v Dover called off due to an issue with the trains meaning Dover couldnt travel up as there wasn’t time to travel by car/coach as an alternative.

Ian Evatt understandably unhappy but seems there was a suicide on the line at MK that ruined their chances of making it. They were due to, or actually did leave London at 9.30 which is their usual procedure for away games.

Fylde and Stockport were also postponed for the same reason.

According to BBC website Armand's goal was a 99th minute penalty (and they lost 2-1).

Did anyone else watch a local game

Watched Matlock today and it was the most enjoyable game of footy I have seen this season. At least half a dozen Town fans that I recognise from sight in an attendance of 700+

Mickleover was packed with quality ex league players, Pablo Mills, Lee Hughes, Ricky Ravenhill and there was other familiar names, Ben Turner (possibly on loan from.Notts) and Stuart Beavon. If they were all the players I think they were the whole team must be getting on for 400 years. It would suggest to me they are pushing the boat out.

Lee Hughes must look ancient now. He looked 40 10 years ago!

Pools panel said they would have given it as an away win, so it was the last straw for the Board.

He looks like he did 20 years ago - ancient

Even more argumentative and niggly than he did back then, but he still managed a characteristic goal. Only lasted an hour and to be honest I could out pace him on my zimmer with the weekly shop on board (it has wheels don’t you know)

Azul.....had to leave Cornwall after two week holiday today....if I was still there I would have chosen Helston Athletic v Falmouth Town in FA Vase which ended 1-5... not back in time to catch a local non-league match but Clay Cross Town in same competition FA Vase would have been my choice.....they won 3-1

Instead of the 100 mile round trip for a home game, I made the short 10 minute trip to AFC Guiseley.

Was an entertaining game, unfortunately marred by what looked like a nasty injury to Lee Shaw.

Understand he was taken to hospital - best wishes to him, hope it's not too serious.

Yes. Cottesmore were the best side on the day. Clay x were lucky to advance.

Wouldnt surprise me if it was true.

Although hardworking, Shaw is a rubbish player whos not good enough to be a professional footballer.

So the sort of player Sheridan likes.

A prominent member of the Shane Bradley anus exploration team, Craig Disley turned out for Barton Town at Staveley in a very entertaining game, with a last minute winner keeping Staveley top of the league.
