It's wildly premature I know, but I for one would like Steve Coe to stay.

So he can placed in stocks in the centre-circle or for some other unnamed purpose?

So I can ask him where the Development School computers went and take a look at his system backup strategy since 2016.

Rumour has it Sutcliffe sold one of them virtually straight away within the club.

My reply is simple.

I do not attend at present and will not attend under the club's current owner.

If he goes, I will probably attend about 10 home games per season (due to commitments/distance!) and would spend in concourse, shop etc. My sister/nephew were season ticket holders previously and I guess would be again.

Further to your specific question, none of this is league/results based.

I just want my club back.

Pure guesswork as I know three fifths of bugggger all, but maybe the Mark Blower rumour has some credence and he's asked Phil for help.

I've still got a season ticket, had one for 20+ years but this will be my last season if DA and his hangers on are still in charge. I hope the club can become a community club again (I chipped in for shares in CFSS for this reason) or we can find a friendly billionaire who will take us to the Premiership (ok I can dream) either way with DA out of the picture I would be renewing my season ticket.

Phil

So good to hear an impassioned plea. I’ve not been since Cookie went and the team that just needed a couple of extra ingredients went too. I’m not close enough to things but I well remember DA setting out his “Championship in 5 years” ambition and then immediately post play-offs (or probably before) reneging on that pledge. He lied and does not warrant my support.

Frankly, the club has seen plenty of unsavoury times, but the current situation is the most embarrassing in my 50 years as a fan.

I’m an exile and have been for a long time, but i’m proud of my roots - this is the first time in my life that I’ve struggled to find the strength, to fight my club’s corner. Would I turn my back completely? No. Are current times testing my resolve absolutely.

If decency, professionalism and integrity return, you’ve got me back.

Been to about five games since the play offs.It always been purely about the football for me so I'd come back but the product on the field and results would have to improve.Sorry if this makes me a lesser fan.

Phil

I went to school with you and I went then but I stopped on the run up to the play offs, it was obvious then, in fact my last game was the play off semi at home against Bolton. It was clear that things were going pear shaped. Would I return, oh yes in a heartbeat but only when the ones at the top had gone, the new owners would need to establish how many others needed to move on.

I honestly believe that in order to get a significant number to return the entrance fee needs to be reduced. This could be done more so if you entered the ground let’s say before 2 to encourage the spend on the concourse. Entrance fees for kids need to be dramatically reduced as well, they are the future supporters of the club, they are the ones who grow up with blue blood and pay the full price in future years. In fact without encouraging kids to go the club will have no future, how many start attending games in their twenties or thirties for the first time and becoming week on week supporters.

Changes need to be made, and by that radical changes need to be made. Speaking for myself I can only say my love for the club is very nearly burnt out, I look for the result but I can’t tell you who we play next. Last night I forgot we’d even got a game and I’m sure many, many others are the same, we need the fire to be re-lit and if they come in without change I’m afraid not much will happen.

"The question is, if the club were to be wholly taken over by a consortium of genuine local supporters"

I don't care if they are local businessmen or a bunch of millionaires from Kazakhstan, as long as the current mob disappear I'd be happy. I renewed my season ticket last year but after Saturday wished I hadn't bothered and knew I wouldn't do it again. However I could be tempted if things changed at the top

Can’t believe people haven’t been seen we lost the play off semi

When did they start going I wonder, when we won the league at Burton?

Let's not bring that up on this thread

could be interesting, i anticipate the usual response from Dave Allen of "tyre kickers and time wasters" however given the feeling on here and surrounding the supporters this approach by DA could be a massive own goal going forward

New people that actually give a damn/are at least moderately competent need look no further than DCCC for how to keep in touch with punters.

I usually only buy tickets for Us V Yorks in the Park but receive messages advertising tickets, offers and events throughout the year.

If they can do it why can't a CFC with a supposed IT bloke on the effin Board?

Exactly. This isn't hard. All of the stuff on my list is simple stuff. A proper team could sit down and be a lot more creative with ideas.

I work in Marketing and would happily commit some of my spare time to helping out here

My guess would be most definitely. The timing is too coincidental
