Wrexham at home, in the cup, ahhh what memories. Soon those memories will be all we have left

God awful draw

That was my first thought, but on reflection, maybe defeat to them would be less humiliating than to most of the teams in the draw.

What a boring tie.

Last time we played them in the cup the winning team got a place in the semi final
This time the winning team gets a chance against the big teams in Round 1 like Forest Green, Salford, Morecambe, Crawley

Not a bad draw at home as they will bring a lot more than any other club other than Notts. We have plenty of cup history with them but I think the game will mean more to their players and possibly fans. Rather have the 3pts next Tuesday.

Is Chris Beaumont still playing?

he'd still get in our midfield now, even if hes not!

I’d like to know what some people regard as an exciting tie - it’s the 4th qualifying round for gods sake

No more boring than 95% of other ties and no chance of being humiliated by a team from the division below like last season.

Might even get 3000 if the Wrexham fans show enough interest
Accentuate th Positive, eliminate the negative

With no guaranteed ST attendees, it'll be a massive gauge of the fans feelings towards the current squad.

Surely they'll make it £10 or similar rather than full price entry?

In the cup it's nice to play against teams who your not already facing at least twice this season. Gives you something a bit different. Like when we used to draw Rochdale all the time and we had league fixtures against them as well it's just not an appealing tie to go watch.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!

To give our midfield some bite I'd have Chris Perkins in now.

I reckon 1500+ home fans but not sure cheaper prices will make much difference

At least there won't be any season ticket "no shows" to concern ourselves about.

Anymore than a tenner and they won't be needing to open the East or South stands.

i think the 96/97 team would beat our current side even though most retired many years ago

At least losing won't be any more humiliating than usual.

I feel for Wrexham, even worse for them, being away against a team you've played more than any other and you have to sit on a sh^^ stained seat for 90 minutes

They shouldn’t be sitting in the home dugout anyway
