I’m hoping for a home draw against the lowest rank club and I hope there isn’t more than 1500 in attendance so that arrogant Sheffield bum hole has to dip his hand in further as it will be a loss maker financially

and it will maximise our chance of progressing - thus putting decent prize money into his back pocket to compensate - good thinking Bluto!

If it's Stourbridge away I could combine it with a trip to the Black Country Living Museum.

As a fan I really hope we can have a decent cup run but don’t expect it. However the potential plus side to going out early stops the chance of any additional cash going into the club and would hopefully encourage Allen to give us all a good Xmas present and sell up at a sensible price and move on.
You never know, Sheridan’s contract or potential severance could be an issue in any sale

A good chance of being the televised BBC match on the red button would be York away I reckon or even Belper away

Am I correct in saying that if we draw Belper away the rules now mean that Belper could not switch the match from their ground? or would it be possible to do so on police advice

I don't think you can switch games these days.

Would probably be a bigger crowd if played at Belper

Never in the history of our club am I less interested in who we draw...

I don't even look at the fixture list or table anymore. In fact the only way I know who we are playing is because I do the prediction league on here!

Like many I used to organise my weekends and life around this club. Now who we draw in the FA cup qualifying round holds as much interest as my accumulated belly button fluff...

You’re probably right. A few nice boozers in Belper.

Whitby could be interesting. I was looking at their ground online the other day. It looks a belter for a cup ‘shock’.

I was at Belper today and ex-Spireite Charlie Dawes earned the club 17k or so with a brilliant winner. The ecstatic celebrations all around were soured for me by the news from the Prozac.

nice to get them in the cup, at least one Derbyshire team would be in 1st rd proper.

KL were quite tidy against Leek Town yesterday, more than capable of causing our clodhoppers a few problems.

I was at the Stourbridge game yesterday v Stafford Rangers. It's a 3-sided ground with a cricket pitch next to it, but on the plus side, was able to drink ale on the terrace, and had a cornish pasty for £2.
Stafford guy taken off on ambulance after a 30 minute postponement due to the injury. Whilst that happened, there was a bit of scrapping involving fans and a couple of Stourbridge players, and a Stourbridge steward told someone to go and chuff themselves (I think she said that). Great fun all round.
Museum's good too.

Didn't Whitby give us a scare in the 84-85 season (for those old enough to remember)?

I'll be happy to avoid the second-best team in Peterborough.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.
