Just been to get tickets for tomorrow night's match against Chorley and the level of service we got was so professional compared to what were used to. Firstly, we were greeted with a smile along with being asked how they could be of assistance.
Secondly, we were asked if there was any preference as to where we wanted to sit or stand so when I told her that we were Spireites and had no preference as to where we sat the kind lady put us in the seats next to the ex players.
Thirdly, she explained where (on the seating plan) we were sitting giving us details on which turnstiles we need to go to and where our seats were.
Then finally before we left the club shop we were asked if there was anything else they could do for us and thanked us for our custom.
Now, I don't like to post up moans and groans about the club but after the way we were treat like a customer and not an inconvenience by this lady then it's time that Mr Bean started from the ground up with better customer service cos after all the customers are getting fewer and fewer every season so they're gonna need to take care of what they've got.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

He's too busy monitoring social media and sending out love letters to supporters.

When our customers reach their level you'd expect at least the same service 😀

When our customers reach their level, it will be allover for cfc, and mission accomplished for the owner and his puppet.

Another non story, I may be lucky but the service I had from the staff at the club has been good with smiles. I’ve been a season ticket holder for nearly 60 years and have always been dealt with efficiently. They will get the odd thing wrong but to paint it as you do is a disservice to the staff.

I don't doubt that you have. But I have.
If I felt for a second that I was doing them a disservice then I wouldn't post it up at all. But having experienced the service from this staff member (for all I know it might have been a one off) and comparing it against the numerous amounts of poor service I have experienced I felt that it was worth a thread. I hope you carry on getting your excellent service, I really do. But I feel that the customer service at the club needs improving.

A few more years of Allen and Carson and it won't really matter. The gateman will know everyone by their name and the barman will know what everyone drinks before they have to say anything.

I think you should have made it clear you were talking about one staff member as your original posting and title suggested your criticism was club wide. I too have rarely had a poor experience in terms of friendliness

In my head I was imagining the bar at Staveley when we're groundsharing.

The OP criticism is misdirected, as it should be aimed higher up. I've always received friendly, helpful and efficient service from staff.

No it's not. I don't deal with the people who are higher up so I can't comment on their customer service and just because you are happy with how you have been dealt with it doesn't mean that you can say that my criticism is misdirected when you don't know my situation.
I don't expect to be treat like I'm a superior being, I'm down to earth with both feet on the ground. There was a time when I have called into a part of the club and the person behind the counter has been on the phone talking about their upcoming holiday. I waited about 10min before somebody else came through and asked if I needed assistance.
Another time that I went to the club when we got tickets from the window I rang the bell 4 times before somebody came through and they were clearly in a mood because there was no attempt to be civil, just took my money and passed the tickets.
I've asked about merchandise in the club shop before and all I got was a shrug of the shoulders and told "I don't know".
I always go down to get a cuppa at about the 30min mark, the amount of times that the staff there are too busy bunched up talking to themselves or are leaning against the counter with their backs towards you whilst staring at their phones is ridiculous. This is just my experience.
I've read it on here when people have complained about how they were trying to get through to the club with no joy and how they have been treat aswell.
My criticism isn't misdirected at all.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Keep your hair on! All we can do is comment on our own experiences, and all are equally valid. Looking at this thread, there are far more posters with positive as opposed to negative comments.

But they didn't accuse me of misdirecting my comments.

Crikey mate you have opened up a right can of worms here!!!! Personally i went both times to Fylde last season and i found them all really pleasant and helpful people but equally i have always had decent customer service at the Proact. Ironically though i thought the one person who was really helpful and would go out of her way to help was young Chelsey in the club shop and she got made redundant!!
