Will miss the Gateshead "Away Day" next season. Nice friendly people, good day out, better halves spending day in the Metro Centre whilst we were in the footie. Rather go there than Aldershot. Great Shame.

About time some of the Little Hitlers in charge stopped to think about what business they're in. The answer is Entertainment, and that means the fans are the ones who're the lifeblood. So why is it always the fans who get punished for the actions of the ****s?
I know punishment has to be meted out to keep any form of order, but there has to be a way of targetting it better.

Best away day in the division gone. AND the local pub sold Citra.

Good to hear something positive about Gateshead for a change most just like fun at the stadium and say there nowt near it. Well there's a pub, supermarket and McDonald's nearby. Not many grounds are in town centres these days

Our tesco is better than your asda though.

It's a bit of a walk to the tesco built on the "get Carter" car park.

For pubs, can anyone beat the majewski stadium reading for inconvenience?

Colchester without doubt. No pubs near it at all, miles from the train station and town centre, only a Mcdonalds on the other side of the bridge over the A12 saves it from being completely isolated.

Their saving grace is having it's own junction from the A12 so it's pretty easy to get to.

Torquay will be a bonus if the away game is in the sunshine.
God I hate this league.

It's only a 20 Min walk ha ha. Never done readings ground. Most isolated grounds I have been to was either chester city's or Solihull moors. Both on industrial estates near no pubs or shops. However at least they let away fans Into there clubhouses which football league clubs don't. If they have one at all.

Can't believe no one's mentioned Donny's place when it comes to pub free surroundings.

Salford was a real ball-ache, too.

Very true, However it must be horrible being a Colchester Wycombe supporter if you like a decent pre/post match pint. From memory Swanseas Liberty Stadium didn't have many places to drown your sorrows after a 5-1 defeat 'til you got to the city centre.
Eastleighs dire.

Sure was. I was there In January, nearest pub must have been the same distance from the proact to chesterfield town centre, mind it was a former, a traditional Manchester pub owned by Holt's brewery. At least Salford had kiosks serving drink thought. Heard the New York city ground is out on a limb
