I'm not condoning it, far from it, anyone that enters the field under those circumstances( to celebrate a goal and goad the opposition team) deserves a lifetime ban, and at least 1 of those lads will get one, but why hadn't the club done more to prevent it, the way their keeper was reacting to the crowd, the fact we had a chance to level it up, the majority of the kop on the advertising hoardings, why had the safety officer or whoever is responsible for crowd control not got a solid line of stewards and police in front of them incase we scored to prevent it.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

I guess they thought, based on the last few years, that we wouldn't score.
These go to eleven.

From almost every account I’ve read their keeper was a complete tool, who has a history of dishing it out and playing the race card. Likely a similar scenario again, and if so, someone needs to come down on him like a tonne of bricks. Waster

A pitch invasion after being 3-0, equalising in the 95th minute isn’t something uncommon up and down the country and doesn’t warrant life time bans at all.

Seems the keeper has informed the club of racial abuse.

Boreham Wood scenario all over again by the looks of it. FA investigated that and I’ve no idea of the outcome but he seemingly took offence to being called a gypo

Ashmore was chasing someone who had confronted him. That is enough for a lengthy ban never mind racism or physical violence. No excuses can be made.

Some idiot certainly made contact with him when he was on the floor when the equaliser went in. We could see that from the back of the east stand.

However, the FA also need to throw the book at the keeper for what can only be described as winding up hundreds of supporters.

My heart sank a bit when I heard the Kop singing "You fat b*****d" at him, as that is what was sung at Gillingham's Jason Brown, when he made the false allegation of racial abuse at Saltergate.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

No but what looked like a supporter jumping on the keeper whilst he was on the floor would warrant a lifetime ban, and from what I hear, he should know better as he follows town home and away most weeks

The club intends to deal with these matters strongly and as and when individuals are identified, banning orders will be issued. We would urge anyone with information about the incidents to contact the club. All communication will be dealt with on a confidential basis.

Let’s email the club “confidentially”

And tell them no racist language was used and he’s just a fat curt

This season alone we've had 2 pitch invasions.
One allegation of bottle throwing.
And now we've got racial abuse aswell as physical violence against an opposition player.
Why the hell are we being so brain-dead? Is there a chance that a points deduction could be implemented?
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Spot on. He time wasted and goaded the fans when we were on the front foot. He bought it on himself. He winded the fans in the Kop up and there's no wonder it kicked off.

It's no excuse. We got wound up in the East stand watching it all develop but none of us ran into the pitch and confronted any players.

And the supporter will be banned I’m sure. I don’t know who said supporter is, but it sounds like he is known. The video I’ve seen on twitter is a lot of fans running on in joy celebrating with the players. Whilst it might be against the rules, you can’t call for those fans to be banned. I’d have been banned against Luton, away at Burton and and against Bournemouth if so.

I'm sorry, but I've got to do what's right for the good of the club, yes I know you shouldn't grass, but with this not being the 1st time the FA will want to see action taken, so I'm going to have to name at least 1 person I'm sure I saw on the pitch and if a lifetime ban follows, we'll so be it... I'm sure it was

Surely it’s time that at least some kind of barrier is put up round the pitch
