Thanks Graham And Thanks Derbyshire Times

This past week The Derbyshire Times have really gone up in my estimations. More recent is the brave report written by Graham, as the saying goes, “Give them enough rope......”

That report has opened up the secret of the inner workings of two minds who have finally been outed for what they really are. This was all brought on by Paul and his organisation of a peaceful protest.

Having just spent the last hour trawling through social media, I can clearly see this reporting is a very big deal,I sincerely believe this could be the turning point we have all been waiting for.

Thanks Graham.

Agreed

I agree with your original post the DT are stepping up to the plate, but it's Graham's job, a journalist, Paul is like the rest of us on here an everyday Spireite who's sick and tired of what's happened these last few years. He won't stand alone.

Good post, Mark.

I know you've been away for a while (and welcome back, by the way) but Graham's gained quite a reputation on here for his measured yet scathing reporting of Town's demise.

Indeed it might be said he's to Biggs what Paul Goodwin is to those still defending Carson and Co...

During my absence I’ve been following Graham’s reports closely on Twitter and Facebook. In fact I was conversing with him two mins ago. He’s done some terrific work. It’s hard to fathom how people still support those crippling the club but it takes all sorts I suppose.

I guess there're those who just don't understand. I've sympathy for them.

Then there're those who've some sort of vested interest, cronies and sycophants who've gained a position or favours denied them under normal circumstances. I've nowt but contempt for such Quislings.

But yeah, there're also one or two who, for reasons I simply can't understand, continue to deny the undeniable, defend the indefensible and smear decent folk rather than condemn what everyone else condemns. Arrogance? Snobbery? Some sense of self awarded superiority that sees them ally themselves to the 'Powers That Be' and never, ever admit being wrong?

Either way the only people they're fooling are themselves...

Keep up the good work Graham.

I have to agree, Graham’s reporting has been top notch and has brought a new level of respect for the local paper.

Thanks Graham.
A new hope.

A suggestion
To recognise the great work of Graham and for him to the get the recognition from his employers
If everyone intent on being peaceful at the gathering carried a copy of the DT.
This increases the sales of the DT as a result of Graham’s articles and is a sign of peace

Just a thought
Have passport will travel

Just hope for good coverage now from the protest. Paul takes massive credit for the way he handled the whole business a gentleman from start to finish.

Even 'braver' report which I think deserves some accolades from BB members - Graham has certainly gone 'Above and Beyond...' for disgruntled Spireites !
