Our Old Friend Graham Bean Is Back

Graham Bean, the former FA compliance officer who was brought in for a period by Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino to stabilise the troubled club, is himself facing a £100,000 pension fraud charge in Manchester on January 19.
Bean will vigorously defend the charge, brought by HMRC. He will claim to have been victim of a pension scam by a professional advisor who has fled the country after being struck off by the Financial Services Authority.

This is a dreadful appointment and raises more questions than answers.....yet again.
Bean may have been our 'friend' once but the evidence suggests he isn't this time, and will go down as one of them rather than one of us.
He'll resign before the end of the season.

Any comment from the newly appointed associate directors or the one gifted the role?
Ladies distance yourselves from this charade as quick as you can, because this is going to get awfully messy in the weeks or months to come. The chickens are going to come home to roost and this latest comical Ashley appointment just adds fuel to the flames. And to those used to posting threats this is nothing of the sort, but I'd hate to see genuine Town fans of years standing dragged into the mire with those running the club. As for Coe, well his silence speaks volumes as well.

Did his professional advisor sell parrot eggs?

He was never our friend. He was appointed by the FA to look into the behaviour of corrupt individuals at our club. No more no less.

Lesley;
Lots of decent people have been made bankrupt or lost businesses over the last 10years. All opinions valid but will reserve judgement until I’ve worked with him 😊
Mike, I’ve not justified anything. I’ve said I am looking forward to working with him and I was encouraged by his experience on the supporter liaison side. Just not my style to condemn someone without giving them any sort of chance.
I do get where you are coming from Mike. Fully appreciated not everyone will agree on everything. I just prefer to give someone at least one chance before making a judgement. I would afford the same to anyone.
