Then again our yellow friends are having their most successful period in 25 years, or more, with a CEO that's good at????. Answers on a postcard please.

I think success is mainly about choosing a good manager and giving him a good budget to sign good players.

As a board member obviously Marcia

But he has indeed taken a step back from the day to day running of the club.

He’s just as much in control this week as he was the last, and the one before that.......he just in the shadows.

Bit of a contradiction init self

How can you do day to day running from the shadows ?

Not sure any amount of money with player budget would help . You need the players of the right standard who are willing to come .

That starts with the club having building bridges with the fans to steady that part of the ship first

All you hear is how the players get abuse and constantly put down.

Till that happens don't think any amount of money will get players playing here . And if your on loan from an efl club and all you hear is abuse , would you want to stay here ?

Recruitment is essential but surely we need players from the EFL or maybe look to recruit players from champ who have done a scholar but have being released, could be a good starting block.
Sure Graham could help with that.
Most established national league players are in the and have spent most there carriers in this league for a reason .

Who hears 'how the players get abuse and constantly put down' and from where?

In the digital age people often do a couple of days working from home.

Emails, texts and phone calls to make major decisions without being there in person anywhere near as often as they might be.

He is still a board member, and GB and others on the board will still have to run things by him.
A new hope.

Christ lad, it's blatantly obvious that the money offered is paramount to the dross we brought in at the beginning of the season. The fact that we can't get em out even on loan shows their quality.
God I hate this league.

A car crash in the making. God help us.

His business acumen is there for all to see - debt upon debt all down to his own actions - I'd say DA/AC will give him no say where spending money is concerned and has been said a simple attempt at PR with the fans.

An absurd appointment considering.
God I hate this league.

All that is near enough the mark apart from ' they'll not come here because of the name calling'
A player, any player, from Prem league to Evo Stick knows that they will get abuse for being bad.
If you target a league player to come here, the only reasons he wouldn't come would be
a) league position
b) the manager
c) the financial state of the club.

Not because someone shouting he's dog vvank.

I agree totally that was the case at the beginning of MA appointment. He seemed to look just for players who were national league established.

Totally accept points A & B but as a player , and unless you spend time on all the social media and fans group, your at training then in your own life bubble. You turn up and play and hear nothing but abuse. I for one know one player who is seriously considering his options on this fact alone. He says it's just awful to play under such consistent and constant conditions( and he's not had much aimed at him ) Last few seasons has seen an increase in the abuse , and in most cases rightly so in principle but they are humans and do feel it's effects. Till this ships steady I don't see many established quality players wanting to come here , for any amount of money.

I think recruitment needs to be at championship and even premier players who get released either before or after a scholar.

Dion Donahue is a prime example , spent his time along side Ross Barclay at Evertons academy , Ross was kept on Dion got sent packing. He's now thriving in the EFL.

And has no one on here worked out the accounts yet

I don't have the exact figures in front of me now

But didn't the club make a loss of around one million pounds ?

Dosent the community trust owe the club one million pounds ?

A part of the stadium that the club has no control over. No money from that side ever goes back into the Football Club. But yet there debt rises to the club every year.

Maybe Graham should look into how this debt can start to be relayed ? ..

With that debt paid this year would it not be that the club wouldn't be losing so much? ... ....

Not saying I'm correct but it's there to see

I wondered how long it would be before you got back on the bandwagon of criticizing the Community Trust.

What will be next another personal attack on John Croot.

You've supposed to have left this in the past Paul.

LET IT GO !
