Hope so. My window cleaner would do a better job than that fraud Allen.

So who's put him there in readiness? Board acting against owner?

One problem - that would imply a plan. A semblance of intelligence. Joined-up thinking.

At Town? Amongst this crew?

Nah...

Like Pemberton but what reasoning is there in giving him the job?

Was speaking to some die hard united fans the other day (they go and watch every match including the reserves home and away and all that jazz). The young duo of Smith and Norrington-Davies who have been snapped up by Barrow are apparently the next two big ones off the production line with them even reckoning Davies could be first choice back up for their full back position when he returns in january. Smith has 5 goals and an assist for them already. If Barrow can get them then there is no reason we shouldn't be in for them, how on earth are they not on our radar when they are so close. We are missing out

Cos we prefer players who have proved themselves at this level. Even if they are 38 now.

our recruitment policy is based people martin knows who he looked after when he was younger and they now look after him by suggesting players.

Plus players he was told about by other managers he happened to meet at service stations, according to his column.
These go to eleven.
