This just MIGHT be the straw that breaks the curmudgeonly camel’s back...after all, he does have a reputation in the gambling business to worry about. Here’s hoping... :ninja:

I'm sure 'Wrong Kit Carson' knew absolutely nothing of this.

After all, his lad was employed at CFCFDS yet he knew absolutely nothing of that. Zero. Nada. Not a damn thing.

But then as a CFC employee was allegedly axed for making dodgy bets - even using a club account, or so I'm told - surely a moral and honest outfit would sack Carson jnr if he's done the same...

Just how, HOW, can you be so stupid?

Surely, the club receives guidance from the FA in these matters, surely the club provides training to employees, surely the club has rules over confidentiality that could affect a matter that may be subject to betting, surely the club extends the restriction on betting to family members to preserve integrity. You know, like general good governance procedures.

Surely, SURELY, you can't be so brain dead and have such a lack of leadership in a senior position to allow your family member to bet on this matter EVEN IF there's nothing untoward.

Surely, with an FA investigation pending you'd be speaking to all staff and reminding their of their responsibilities.

Wouldn't you, WOULDN'T YOU?

you really couldn't make this stuff up

Stupid to make any bet related to Town when your old man is in the position he is in, then even stupider to tweet and brag about winning the bet!

So would it be reasonable to assume that no proper interviews were done (again) and MA's appointment was possibly sorted via a quick chat and a jar after the Barnet game?

It struck me at the time that MA's revelation that his contract was all prepared and ready to be signed on Monday after his Saturday interview seemed a bit odd. After all, there's no buggger in CFC Admin capable of acting so quickly and professionally.

The blue suited Evo only went into the bookies 'cos he thought Chesterfield was running.

Their is only 2 or 3 bookies who offer markets on manageriral appointment (one of which in the EFL Sponsor Skybet) so tracing every bet placed on this market shouldn't be too tough.

With previous high profile cases like Barton etc its been confirmed that bets and accounts are monitored so it could be that Skybet informed the FA.

I do hope he shared the info around his mates, too.

It was SkyBet 😉
The screenshot proves it 🤣

The fa will take a very dim view on this , no matter how much ashley squirms he is guilty by association and its absolutely a cast iron certainty that this information filtered down from above, just think if skybet pulled sponsorship over this type of insider trading.
I expect more than a wristslap, it's fraudulent

The individuals involved should be heavily punished. Ie the Carson's, not the club. Ignorance and stupidity or not from the lad, he's had a tip from somewhere. Should he even be betting on a thing like this where his dad has influence on the out come?

Dunford should be making an immediate statement and announcing an enquiry. Does he work on Thursday's. Does SBK have him connected remotely?

How right the chaps were who stood outside the Proact a couple of seasons ago with a banner saying”Scandal after scandal, what next” on it.

It smacks of arrogance to me, my friend.

The same arrogance that has nobodies strutting around the Proact sticking their noses into areas that're none of their business because they quote Carson's name.

The same arrogance that has Carson believing he's utterly bomb-proof because he can quote Allen's name.

The same arrogance that has Allen quoting a Trump-esque version of reality that no one else even recognises.

The same arrogance that led to years of scandals at the hands of folk who were convinced they could get away with them.

Clearly no lessons have been learned...
