If we don't bounce back next year with the parachute payment and sales of Dennis and anyone else who is worth anything, then I think under the current ownership, sadly we will be destined for a long time in the lower leagues.
I’m being optimistic and hoping we will be back in one year and although I'm tempted to join the 'not a penny more' brigade, I will probably renew my season ticket.

 Unless s/t discounts work out at a fiver a game,I'd pay as you go.
Many a good tune

I'd guess at 1 to 3 years of getting half decent new owners, as long as DA/AC don't preside over further decline in the meantime.

I'd say as long as it takes to have a full season with a new owner.

I'll be renewing despite only making it up 6 times this season, tried to get the forms last night but they "didn't have anything in place yet"

1 year after getting new owners who care

Absolutely agree so much depends on having owners who want to succeed. As I understand it there are rumours about new owners but there has not been any suggestion that they might care. I struggle to understand the motivation for anyone to own a football club unless they are a real fan with money to spare.

That’s where I am.

If Allen retains ownership with his puppet running the show then we won’t have hit bottom just yet.

The club is rudderless with no one in proper control, no one over seeing the finances, departments left to their own devices, with each department head just waiting in line to be thrown under the bus in turn.

Very few L2 clubs bounce back. Many L2 clubs struggle. The most recent dysfunctional club to drop, Torquay, have gone again. This could easily be our fate. Leyton Orient and Hartlepool both finished in the bottom half of the table, one after getting rid of poor ownership.

I’ve said it before, and I say it again. If you want an example in recent years of what happens to poorly run clubs with control over finances and who get managerial appointments spectacularly wrong, look over the tops at Stockport County.
Relegated to L2 in 2010.
Relegated to national league 2012.
Relegated to national north 2013.

Can't really argue with any of this.

As things stand whomever becomes manager will have to initiate a total squad overhaul with next to nothing to work with. What's more locals have become so alienated the atmosphere around the Club will continue to be one of toxic distrust. The nearly twelve hundred ticket holders who simply didn't bother last night allied to three unsponsored stands pays testament to that. Hell - Allen could pledge a million or more quid on a quick return but no-one would believe it.

When some suggested an Orient-esque double drop this time last year the usual suspects sneered. Surely no one would be stupid enough to taunt talk of a triple tragedy now...

The bigger question for me is will I see it.
God I hate this league.

To be fair this season hasn’t even finished yet but I like your keenness.

As long as Allen remains in control of any part of the club and Carson is here to ru(i)n the thing, then we will never get back up. Renewing my season ticket? More likely at the moment to stroll past the ground to the Donkey Derby, to watch it on the telly.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.
