Wycombe didn't stand out as a team any worse than others I've seen this season. I've got no issues with them myself, a fan owned club with a budget half of ours and they'll be in League 1 next season. No reserve or youth teams and hardly any coaching staff, we might have to follow this format ourselves over the next few years. I suppose it's a case of working with what you've got and being street wise, things we haven't done. The only current player I can think of is Drew who knows when to go down and win a free kick when maybe it shouldn't be.

Good point about being streetwise and about Drew. I can't believe Jack didn't pass on some of his tricks to our useless crew, perhaps they were just too thick to learn.
Likewise there was a couple of breaks on us at FGR where we just let them run and run when all it would've taken was a tug. When the ball was on the other foot they stopped us and took the consequences.

From where I was several of them would have given Tom Daley a run for his money - they provided some of the most spectacular flips, rolls and somersaults I've seen since the Euro Championships 10 metre competition. We can't blame the defeat on their antics, but they certainly realised early on that the ref was easily conned.

ARN'T WE ALL CLONES OF EACH OTHER, NO ONE CAN PUT THEIR TEAM ON A PEDISTAL ABOVE ANY OTHER. THESE TYPES OF EXCUSES ETC WHEN THE IMPACT ON YOUR TEAM IS LOSING THE GAME ARE PATHETIC REALLY. AS FOR HAVING A GO AT THE REF THATS ANOTHER EXCUSE.
THE GAMES FOOKED AS REGARDS FAIR PLAY - THE PLAYERS EVEN MANIPULATE THE NEW THIRD EYE SYSTEM TO THE DEGREE THAT IT'S TO BE ABANDONED. JOB DONE FOR THE CHEATS, THEIR MANAGER AND THEIR CLUB.

To be honest, if we had some of that bite and gamesmanship we might not be bottom of the football league. I think this "try to play football" philosophy attracts too many "nice guys", which is a weakness at this level.
This is one of the few negative habits we inherited from the Cook regime of which I am sure you are familiar.

Well said, but not to the extremes of a Westley side please because that is painful.

"In Practice"?
I thought they had perfected the art.
What I didn't understand was even when that very poor referee waved play on following the most blatent dives he did nothing about it when I thought if he produced yellow cards often enough it would have stamped it out rather than them being encouraged to try harder.
